Neither chipset wins every benchmark in the available comparison. 91mobiles reports a higher AnTuTu score for the Dimensity 7300 Energy, while the Dimensity 7400X leads in both listed Geekbench tests. MediaTek’s official specifications also show the 7400X’s Cortex-A78 cores clocked slightly higher, but the available official 7300X page is for a related variant—not the 7300 Energy itself. These results are best read as scores from tested phones, not a universal ranking of the chips.
Dimensity 7400X vs Dimensity 7300 Energy: specification comparison
The table combines MediaTek’s official 7400X and related 7300X pages with 91mobiles’ Energy-specific listing. That distinction matters: MediaTek’s cited official page covers the 7300X, not the 7300 Energy.
| Specification | Dimensity 7400X | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Octa-core: 4× Cortex-A78 up to 2.6GHz and 4× Cortex-A55, according to MediaTek. | 4× Cortex-A78 up to 2.5GHz and 4× Cortex-A55, according to 91mobiles. MediaTek’s related 7300X page lists the same core arrangement and 2.5GHz maximum for the A78 cores. |
| Manufacturing process | 4nm-class, according to MediaTek. | 4nm, according to 91mobiles. |
| GPU | Arm Mali-G615 MC2, according to MediaTek. | Mali-G615 MC2, according to 91mobiles. MediaTek’s cited 7300X page lists Mali-G615 but does not specify the same MC2 suffix. |
| Memory support | LPDDR5 and LPDDR4x, according to MediaTek. | LPDDR5, according to 91mobiles’ comparison. |
| Storage support | UFS 2.2 and UFS 3.1, according to MediaTek. | Not stated in the cited 91mobiles comparison. |
Supported memory and storage options describe platform capabilities, not necessarily the configuration in every phone. Likewise, the matching 4nm labels do not by themselves establish equivalent speed or battery life. MediaTek says the 7400X “upgrades performance by over 10% compared to the previous generation chip,” but the cited product-page text does not state the conditions behind that vendor claim; it is not a direct benchmark against the 7300 Energy.

Which chipset scores higher in benchmarks?
91mobiles’ comparison, accessed October 2026, reports the following results. They are reported results from tested devices, not official MediaTek benchmark promises.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
| Benchmark | Dimensity 7400X | Dimensity 7300 Energy | Higher reported score |
|---|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 676,447 | 739,074 | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
| AnTuTu CPU | 203,894 | 220,937 | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
| AnTuTu GPU | 175,984 | 148,495 | Dimensity 7400X |
| AnTuTu memory | 125,234 | 202,647 | Dimensity 7300 Energy |
| AnTuTu UX | 171,335 | 166,995 | Dimensity 7400X |
| Geekbench single-core | 1,098 | 1,052 | Dimensity 7400X |
| Geekbench multi-core | 3,043 | 2,969 | Dimensity 7400X |
The AnTuTu total favors the 7300 Energy, but the individual components are mixed: it leads in CPU and memory in this comparison, while the 7400X leads in GPU and UX. The listed Geekbench single- and multi-core results both favor the 7400X. The AnTuTu and Geekbench results therefore answer different questions; the aggregate score should not be treated as a verdict on every workload.
Why the benchmark results do not establish a universal winner
These are device-level measurements, and the available sources do not establish that both chips were tested in otherwise identical phones under a complete shared protocol. Phone cooling, software, memory configuration and benchmark version can affect results in general; the cited comparison does not isolate those factors as causes of its particular score differences.

91mobiles’ standalone 7300 Energy listing describes its AnTuTu value as the highest recorded by any device running that chipset. That qualification is a reminder that a reported score is not a guaranteed result for every phone using the chip.
What the specifications suggest for real phones
On paper, the 7400X’s Cortex-A78 cores have a 0.1GHz higher listed maximum clock than the 7300 Energy’s. The benchmark comparison’s Geekbench results also favor the 7400X, while the 7300 Energy has the higher AnTuTu total. Neither the clock difference nor these cross-device scores establish which phone will feel faster in everyday use or deliver higher gaming frame rates.

For device context, 91mobiles lists the Motorola Razr 60 among phones powered by the Dimensity 7400X. This example identifies a handset using the chip; it is not a matched test against a particular 7300 Energy phone.

If you are deciding between two handsets, compare the complete models rather than choosing from the chipset name alone. Check their price, display, cameras, battery, software support and independent tests of the actual devices. Those details can matter more to your purchase than a small difference between scores measured on different phones.
