A “hard reset” usually means a factory reset: erasing the tablet’s local data and settings and restoring its software to default settings. Back up important files and photos first if you can still access Android. The correct recovery-button procedure depends on the exact Sky Devices model, so use that model’s manual rather than guessing a button combination.
Find your exact Sky Devices tablet model
Before trying a hardware-button reset, identify the tablet’s model. Check its label, original packaging, paperwork, or, if Android opens, the device information in Settings. Sky Devices lists manuals for multiple tablets, including SKY Vision2, SKY KID, Platinum View2, Elite Octa, Elite OctaMax, Elite OctaPlus, Elite OctaX, Elite T8, Elite T8Plus, and Elite T10. The list may change; use the official Sky Devices downloads page to find the guide for your model.
Sky Devices’ support FAQ says: “For detailed instructions about a specific device, please check the User Guide.” That model-specific guidance matters because a button sequence that works on one tablet may not work on another.

If you can unlock the tablet and open Android, use its Settings menu rather than recovery buttons. Menu names and locations vary by model and Android version, so treat these as general directions, not a guaranteed path:
#1 Best Overall
- Elegant Design: The Elite T10 tablet, Blue back color style, boasts a slim full metal body that exudes elegance and sophistication. Its sleek design and premium build quality make it a perfect companion for any occasion.
- Powerful Performance & Long Battery Life: The Elite T10 tablet is powered by an Octa-Core with a 7,100 mAh battery, keeping you connected all day.
- 8 Core 2.0 GHz processor, providing smooth and responsive performance for all your daily tasks. Whether you're browsing the web, streaming movies, or playing games, the tablet can handle it all with ease.
- Large Storage Capacity: With 64GB of internal storage, you'll have plenty of space to store your favorite movies, music, and photos. And if that's not enough, the tablet also supports expandable storage via a microSD card, allowing you to increase your storage capacity up to 128GB.
- Sharp Display: The Elite T10 tablet features a 10-inch HD screen with a resolution of 800x1280 pixels. The vibrant colors and sharp details make it ideal for watching movies, browsing the web, and reading eBooks.
- Open Settings and look for a system, backup, or reset section.
- Choose the option labeled for a factory data reset, resetting the tablet, or erasing all data.
- Read the confirmation screen carefully. Proceed only if you are ready to erase the tablet’s local data and settings.
- Confirm the reset using the on-screen instructions and allow the process to finish.
The available general guidance describes a Settings-based factory reset, but it does not establish one menu path for every Sky Devices tablet. If the labels differ, consult the manual for your model instead of selecting an unfamiliar option.
If Android will not open, use the model’s manual
A recovery-menu reset may be an option when Android is inaccessible, but Sky Devices’ available official support material points owners to model-specific User Guides rather than giving one universal hardware-key sequence. Find your tablet’s manual on the downloads page and follow its instructions exactly.

Recovery menus may include choices such as Wipe data/factory reset and Reboot system now, but the available general instructions do not establish a reliable Sky Devices button combination. Do not guess between Power and Volume button combinations. If you cannot find the manual or the screen does not match its directions, stop and contact Sky Devices support or your distributor/service provider.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhat to do if the tablet will not power on
A reset cannot help if the tablet has no power. The troubleshooting appendix in the SKY PAD10 manual reference advises checking that the battery has charge, using the charger designed for that tablet, checking the charger voltage against its indication, and making sure the plug has good contact. Those checks are specific to the SKY PAD10 manual reference; do not assume they apply unchanged to every Sky Devices model. If the problem persists, that manual advises contacting the distributor or service provider.

Know what a factory reset does—and does not establish
A factory reset removes local user data and settings. Back up anything important beforehand if Android is still accessible. The available sources do not establish that a reset removes an account-based activation lock or guarantees access to a locked tablet. If your goal is to regain access, check the model’s manual and contact the appropriate support channel before erasing data.
