To install an LG OLED TV stand, first find the television’s complete model number and follow that model’s owner’s manual for the stand orientation, attachment points and screws. LG OLED models do not share one universal stand-installation sequence or hardware specification.
Before you begin: identify the exact TV model
Check the label on the television or its packaging for the complete model number. Open the corresponding owner’s manual or official LG support page and confirm which stand parts and screws belong with that TV, how the stand is oriented, and where it attaches. Do not infer compatibility from a similar-looking television or stand.
LG’s OLED55B3PSA safety and installation document gives useful precautions, but it does not establish one assembly sequence or screw specification for every LG OLED. The model manual is the authority for your assembly steps.

Install the stand
- Prepare a safe work area. Use a stable, clear surface. If your model’s manual directs you to lay the TV down, use a clean, flat, cushioned surface to protect the screen, and follow the manual’s handling and positioning directions.
- Check the hardware. Use the stand and screws supplied with the TV, or parts explicitly approved for that exact model. Do not apply oil or lubricant to the screws. LG’s B3-series safety document says not to apply foreign substances such as oils or lubricants to screw parts and not to use unapproved items.
- Align and fasten the stand. Position it as shown in your model’s manual, then install every specified screw. Tighten securely, but do not force the screws: LG warns that missing or incompletely tightened screws can let the TV tilt or tip, while overtightening can wear the screw joint.
- Place the TV on a suitable support. Set it on a platform or cabinet strong and large enough to support it securely. Take steps to prevent the television from overturning.
Why you should not borrow another model’s screws
Stand geometry, screw count and fastener size can vary between models. For example, an older LG 55LF5700/65LF5700 manual specifies four screws, with M5 x 22 mm screws for the 55-inch model and M6 x 25 mm screws for the 65-inch model. Those figures apply to those older televisions only; they are not specifications for current OLED sets.

A replacement stand listing is not proof that the part fits your TV. Verify the complete model and supported size or series against the manufacturer’s compatibility information before buying.
If you are switching to wall mounting
A wall mount is a different installation, not a substitute stand attachment. LG says the method depends on the TV, bracket, wall type and installation environment, and recommends using a professional technician to avoid potential damage. Consult the manual for your exact TV and LG’s OLED TV wall-mounting guidance, dated July 9, 2025.
