In Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge on desktop, press Ctrl+Shift+D to save the open tabs as bookmarks or favorites. On Mac, use Command+Shift+D. The browser saves links to the pages, so you can reopen them later; the shortcut does not set those pages to open automatically at startup.
What Ctrl+Shift+D does in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
The shortcut saves the tabs in the browser window you are using as a group of links. Chrome and Edge save them in a new folder; Firefox bookmarks all open tabs in the current window and lets you name the group and choose its destination folder. Edge calls bookmarks “favorites.” The official desktop instructions are documented by Google Chrome Help, Mozilla Support, and Microsoft Support.

Use the shortcut in the window whose tabs you want to keep. For example, you could save a research session or trip-planning window together, then open its links again when you need them. The cited instructions describe desktop browsers; they do not establish that the same shortcut applies to mobile apps.

- Switch to the browser window containing the tabs you want to keep.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+D on Windows, ChromeOS, or Linux, or Command+Shift+D on Mac.
- In Firefox, name the group and choose its destination folder if desired. In Chrome and Edge, the tabs are saved in a new folder.
How to do it in Chrome without the shortcut
Open the Chrome menu and choose More > Bookmarks > Bookmark All Tabs. Google lists this menu command as an alternative to the keyboard shortcut on its Chrome tips page.

Saved tabs are not startup pages
Bookmarking a group preserves links for later; it does not tell Chrome to open those pages whenever the browser starts. Chrome documents startup-page configuration separately from saving all tabs in its tips and shortcuts guide.
