The Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse (model A7852) is a five-button mouse with a USB receiver, three DPI settings, and a design Anker says is intended to encourage a handshake-style wrist position. Its specifications make setup straightforward, but they do not prove that the shape will feel comfortable for your hand or reduce strain. Anker’s US product listing describes the A7852 as a wireless, optical-tracking mouse with five buttons. It connects through a 2.4G USB receiver rather than Bluetooth. Shape and ergonomics: a design claim, not a comfort guarantee
Anker describes the mouse’s handshake shape as encouraging a neutral wrist and arm position and less strain. That is the manufacturer’s stated design intent, not independent evidence that the mouse prevents or treats a condition, or that it reduces discomfort for a particular user. Anker lists the dimensions as 120 × 62.8 × 74.8 mm and the weight as about 3.4 oz. Those figures can help you gauge its size, but they cannot determine whether it suits your hand. Hand size, grip, desk setup, and the time needed to adapt to a vertical shape all affect fit. DPI settings and cursor speed
A button on the mouse cycles through 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI. Higher DPI moves the cursor farther for the same physical movement, so use a lower setting if the pointer feels too fast and a higher one if you want it to travel farther. Compatibility and thumb buttons
Anker lists Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, XP, and 2000, Linux, and Mac OS X. This is the manufacturer’s published compatibility statement, not validation on every current release of those operating systems. Anker says the mouse enters a power-saving mode after eight minutes of inactivity and wakes when either the left or right button is pressed. Its support article says the LED bar blinks red when the battery is low and the mouse moves. Anker’s product listing and Anker’s DPI-button support article

Price and buying considerations
Anker’s US listing showed $29.99 in the available product-page snapshot. That is a changeable listing price, not a guaranteed current price; availability and the price at checkout may differ. The A7852 is worth considering if you want a vertical-shaped mouse that uses a USB receiver, offers three selectable DPI levels, and has thumb buttons. Its practical drawbacks are the receiver-based connection, separately purchased batteries, and the loss of previous/next thumb-button recognition on Mac OS X. The published dimensions and ergonomic language are useful starting points, not a substitute for deciding whether the shape fits your hand.
