To get Reset Items in CONTROL Resonant, buy them from vendors or defeat The Artist, the first Resonant boss. Remedy’s Hotfix 1.3.3 says The Artist now drops two Reset Items and vendors carry more stock. To spend one, go to the Gap, interact with the mural on the left as you enter, select “Reset All,” then hold Square or X.
Where to get Reset Items
There are two supported ways to obtain Reset Items: vendor purchases and a drop from The Artist. Remedy’s official Hotfix 1.3.3 says it permanently reduced respeccing costs and increased Reset Item stock across all vendors. The patch also changed The Artist’s drop from one Reset Item to two.
Buy from vendors
The hotfix confirms that vendors have increased stock, but its notes do not identify which vendors sell Reset Items, give their locations, list prices, or state exact stock counts. Check the vendors you encounter in-game; do not assume a particular vendor or price based on the patch notes.
Defeat The Artist
The Artist is the first Resonant boss. Under Hotfix 1.3.3, the fight drops two Reset Items, making it a confirmed way to obtain them without relying on a vendor purchase.

How to use a Reset Item to respec
- Go to the Gap.
- Interact with the mural on the left as you enter.
- At the top of the interface, choose “Reset All.”
- Hold Square or X, depending on your controller.
GamesRadar reports that one Reset Item lets you choose all your powers again. This resets all power choices rather than just one individual power.

Remedy says the permanent cost reduction and vendor-stock increase are intended “to encourage buildcrafting and experimentation.” The official notes describe these changes but do not provide the revised respec price or vendor-by-vendor inventory.
