The India-market REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G has the larger, higher-resolution display, a 200MP main camera and 100W charging. The India-market OPPO Reno15 5G adds a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera, a 50MP autofocus selfie camera and listed 4K/60fps recording on both front and rear cameras. Both are specified with a 6500mAh typical battery. Which is better depends on which features matter to you; these specifications do not establish real-world performance or image quality.
India models compared: check the exact names
This comparison is between the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G sold in India and the OPPO Reno15 5G sold in India. Reno15 is a family name, and the India lineup differs from OPPO’s global Reno15 lineup. Do not assume the specifications here apply to the Reno15 Pro, Reno15 Pro Mini or a model sold in another country. The manufacturers’ India specifications are the relevant references: Xiaomi India’s REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G specifications and OPPO India’s Reno15 5G specifications.

These are manufacturer-published specifications, not independently verified measurements. The display brightness figures use different labels, so they should not be treated as a directly controlled comparison. Although REDMI’s listed display is physically larger and has more pixels, OPPO lists a higher pixel density; screen size alone does not describe every aspect of display sharpness.

REDMI: high-resolution main camera
Xiaomi lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an f/1.7 aperture and a 1/1.4-inch sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Its cited India specification lists rear video up to 4K/30fps.

OPPO: dedicated telephoto and higher-resolution selfie camera
OPPO lists three rear cameras: a 50MP wide camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 50MP, has autofocus and a 100-degree field of view. OPPO lists 4K/60fps and 30fps recording for both front and rear cameras, as well as 4K EIS/OIS video.
The practical distinction on paper is a dedicated telephoto camera on OPPO versus REDMI’s higher-resolution main-camera specification. Megapixels and feature lists alone cannot determine which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparable image and video testing.

Display, chipset and memory differences
REDMI’s listed 6.83-inch panel is larger than OPPO’s approximately 6.59-inch panel, and both support up to 120Hz. Xiaomi gives the REDMI a 2772 × 1280 resolution, while OPPO lists 2760 × 1256. For the OPPO, the manufacturer lists LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage, compared with LPDDR4X and UFS 2.2 listed for the REDMI. Those component-generation differences do not, by themselves, establish how fast either phone feels in everyday use. The chipset names also differ, but there is no comparable benchmark evidence here to rank performance, heat or sustained speed.

Battery and charging
Both manufacturers list a 6500mAh typical battery capacity. OPPO additionally states a rated capacity of 6335mAh. Xiaomi lists 100W charging and a charger in the box; OPPO specifies up to 80W SUPERVOOC and lists compatible charging protocols and power levels. Rated charging wattage does not establish how long a full charge takes, and battery capacity does not establish comparative runtime. Those outcomes depend on testing conditions and usage.

Price difference in India
A third-party Smartprix listing displayed ₹39,999 for the REDMI Note 15 Pro+ 5G and ₹47,999 for the OPPO Reno15 5G, an apparent difference of ₹8,000. The listing was marked updated on 2026-10-05. Treat these as an indicative tracker snapshot, not official manufacturer prices or a confirmed like-for-like comparison: the listing does not establish matching RAM and storage configurations, seller, or whether offers are included. Check the current price for the exact variant and seller before buying.

Consider the REDMI if
- You want the larger listed display and higher screen resolution.
- You prefer a 200MP main-camera specification and do not need a dedicated telephoto camera based on the listed setup.
- You value the listed 100W charging, in-box charger or eSIM support.
Consider the OPPO if
- You want a dedicated 50MP telephoto camera with OIS.
- You value a 50MP autofocus front camera and the listed 4K/60fps front and rear video modes.
- You prefer the listed LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage, or one of OPPO’s published storage configurations.
These are choices based on published India specifications, not review findings. Neither phone can be declared the better performer, camera, battery-life option or overall value without controlled comparative testing and current, configuration-matched prices.
