Collect seven in-game objects and place them on the yellow markers inside the Field Office Containment Unit. Put the desk fan and green lamp on the desk, the armchair behind it, the two plastic chairs in front, and one traffic cone in each back corner. Use the “Drop Object” prompt so each item registers.
Where each object goes
Use the yellow markers as your placement guide. The walkthrough-supported layout is:

How to complete the furnishing objective
- Find and carry the seven required objects into the Field Office Containment Unit: one desk fan, one green lamp, two traffic cones, one armchair, and two white plastic chairs.
- Match each object to its yellow marker using the placement map above.
- At each marker, use the “Drop Object” interaction rather than leaving the item nearby. If it does not register, reposition it directly on the marker and use the prompt again.
- Once all seven placements register, the furnishing objective advances.
What happens after furnishing
Furnishing is one stage of the side quest A New Directive, not the end of the quest. The walkthroughs direct you back toward Fra afterward; later steps include preparing and hanging a portrait.
