In desktop Chrome, you can delete the stored data for one website without clearing it for every site. Chrome’s documented controls remove data at the website level; they do not provide a way in this workflow to select one cookie by name while keeping that site’s other data.

Delete a website’s cookies and site data on desktop

  1. Open Chrome and select More > Settings.

  2. Select Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.

  3. Select See all site data and permissions.

  4. Use the search field at the top right to find the website.

  5. Select Delete beside the site, then confirm by selecting Delete.

This is a site-level action, not a choice of a single named cookie. If your Chrome version or managed browser shows different menu labels, open Settings and search for site data and permissions. Google’s desktop cookie instructions document this route.

Delete site data on Chrome for Android

  1. Open the website in Chrome.

  2. Tap the page information icon beside the address bar.

  3. Open Cookies and site data.

  4. Tap Delete beside the stored data.

Android uses the site’s page information rather than the desktop Settings path. See Google’s Android instructions.

What gets removed—and what to expect

Cookies are only part of a site’s stored data. Google describes site data as including browser storage such as Web Storage and Indexed Database data, as well as other storage types. The site-level deletion therefore should not be treated as a way to remove only one cookie while preserving all other data for that site.

Google cautions: “If you delete cookies, you may get signed out of sites that remember you. Your saved preferences can also be deleted.” Saved passwords are a separate browsing-data category in Google’s guide to deleting browsing data; deleting a site’s cookies does not necessarily delete saved passwords.

What about Chrome on iPhone or iPad?

The desktop steps above are not an iPhone or iPad procedure. Google’s iOS guidance covers clearing cookies and site data broadly, but does not establish an equivalent path for deleting data for just one site. Check current Chrome for iOS help before relying on a desktop menu path.
