Hypogeans are an AFK Arena faction, but the familiar six-hero Hypogean list on BlueStacks is historical—not a reliable current roster or investment guide. AFK Global’s April 2026 Update 1.192 notes document the addition of Hybris – Mirror of Kings as an Awakened Hypogean. Current summon rates, banners and best Hypogean investments are not established by the available sources, so check the live game before spending resources.
What this Hypogeans guide can—and cannot—tell you
The BlueStacks guide describes six heroes: Ezizh, Mezoth, Mehira, Zolrath, Khazard and Lucretia. Treat that as a snapshot from an older article, not a complete present-day faction roster. Its ability descriptions and recommendations are also historical claims, not verified current advice. BlueStacks’ Hypogeans guide does not establish a publication date in the accessible text.
AFK Global’s Update 1.192 notes, dated April 20, 2026, identify Hybris – Mirror of Kings as a newly added Awakened Hypogean. The notes say the patch was released April 21, 2026. That confirms at least one roster change after the older guide; it does not, by itself, supply a complete current roster, skill comparison or investment ranking.

Hypogean faction bonuses: historical values
A March 2019 reproduction of AFK Global Team’s Update 1.15 patch notes gives the following faction-bonus ladder. These figures are historical, not confirmation of the current game balance; check the formation or faction-bonus display in your version of AFK Arena before planning around them. AFK Global’s Update 1.15 notes are dated March 29, 2019.
| Hypogeans in formation | Bonus recorded in the 2019 notes |
|---|---|
| One or more | +30% defense |
| Two or more | +25% energy recovered when injured |
| Three or more | +15% critical rating |
| Four or more | +30% critical strike damage |
| Five | +15 Haste |
The reproduced patch text says Hypogeans do not activate other factions’ factional bonuses, and that allied heroes receive effects based on the number of Hypogeans in the formation. Because the note is from 2019, verify the current rules in-game rather than assuming that either the wording or numbers remain unchanged.

How to approach gacha decisions
Current summon rates, active banners and present-day Hypogean priorities are not established by the sources available for this guide. Do not use the older BlueStacks hero recommendations as a current tier list or infer odds from an unofficial beginner guide.
- Check the summon screen in your game for the active banner, its rules and any displayed rates before using resources.
- Confirm whether a summon option is limited-time and read its eligibility and costs in-game; past event terms do not establish today’s offer.
- Base investment decisions on current hero skills, your account’s needs and the modes you play, rather than a roster or ranking from an undated legacy guide.
A community beginner guide discusses Tavern summoning, faction scrolls, Hero Choice Pack and Stargazing, but it is not an authoritative current rate table or personalized spending recommendation. AFK.Guide’s beginner guide should therefore be treated as general community guidance and checked against the current game interface.
Playing AFK Arena on PC or Android
AFK Arena is an Android game, and the BlueStacks guide presents its Android emulator as a way to play on PC. It also describes multi-instance play as useful for rerolling. Those statements explain the platform route, but do not verify whether a particular computer meets current requirements, whether a specific version is compatible, or how it will perform. Check the emulator and game’s current compatibility information for your device before installing. BlueStacks’ guide discusses the emulator approach.

An unofficial AFK Arena download page also mentions Android emulators as a PC-play route and says it is not affiliated with Lilith Games. For game availability and account safety, use the official store listing for your device where possible; do not treat an unofficial fan page as an official game publisher. AFK.Guide’s download page describes its unofficial status.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.April 2026 events are over
Update 1.192 listed launch events and rewards tied to Hybris, including a temporary discount on the first six ten-draw summons for that event. The patch notes place these offers in April 2026; they are historical and should not be presented as currently available. Check the live event screen for current promotions. AFK Global’s Update 1.192 notes provide the dated event details.
