There is no verified performance ranking for Frontline Flair, so the best player is the eligible card that fills a role your squad needs—not necessarily the one with the highest overall. Start with candidates such as Jonathan David, Rafael Leão, Christos Tzolis, Ayase Ueda, Mexx Meerdink, or Amanda Gutierres, then check the exact card in Ultimate Team’s Evolution preview before committing. The listed requirements are 83 Overall or lower, 84 Pace or lower, no more than 7 PlayStyles, and a position of LW, RW, or ST; card versions can differ.
Which players are worth checking?
Database listings provide useful candidates, not a tested ranking. FUTEvolution displays eligible examples including Jonathan David, Omar Marmoush, Rafael Leão, Ademola Lookman, Christos Tzolis, Savinho, Son Heung-min, and Gabriel Martinelli. Its evolved-player examples include Ayase Ueda, Mexx Meerdink, Amanda Gutierres, Christos Tzolis, Jonathan David, Gift Orban, Georges Mikautadze, and Kaoru Mitoma. FCData also highlights Ayase Ueda, Mexx Meerdink, and Amanda Gutierres among trending outcomes.
These lists do not establish that one player performs better than another. Treat each name as a starting point: first confirm eligibility, then decide whether the card suits the role you want to fill.

What are the Frontline Flair requirements and upgrade?
FCData lists the Evolution’s limits as 83 maximum Overall, 84 maximum Face Pace, and 7 maximum PlayStyles. The eligible positions are LW, RW, and ST; CAM and GK are excluded. Destructoid independently reports the principal caps and positions. Check the exact Player Item in-game because alternate versions of a player may have different attributes or eligibility.

FUTEvolution describes Frontline Flair as a one-level Evolution that grants +1 Overall. FCData’s displayed example path shows +1 Overall, +2 Pace, +1 Shooting, +2 Dribbling, and one PlayStyle upgrade. That example is not a guarantee that every card receives identical attribute changes; inspect the preview for the item you intend to evolve.

How to choose the right card for your squad
- Check the exact item. In Ultimate Team, open the Frontline Flair Evolution and use its eligibility or preview screen on the specific Player Item. Confirm its position, Overall, Pace, and PlayStyle count rather than relying on another version of the same player.
- Choose for the job you need. Pick an LW or RW if you need a winger, or an ST if you need a striker. The available sources do not establish one universally best position or formation for this Evolution.
- Review the resulting card. Compare the previewed attributes and PlayStyle with the card’s current strengths and your intended role. EA’s official Evolutions guidance says the feature lets players “level up, tweak, or customize” Ultimate Team players: EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team Evolutions: upgrades and rewards.
- Consider future Evolution plans. EA says subsequent Evolutions are filtered based on the resulting stats. If you intend to chain Evolutions, check how the Frontline Flair result affects the item’s later eligibility before you commit.
- Value the PlayStyle, not just the rating. EA explains that PlayStyles and PlayStyles+ can affect specific on-pitch abilities beyond a player’s ratings. Decide whether the displayed PlayStyle upgrade supports the actions you use with that player; a higher Overall alone does not settle the choice. See EA’s PlayStyles explainer, dated 25 September 2026.
What the candidate lists can—and cannot—tell you
FUTEvolution displays 20 eligible cards out of 4,101 in its database. That is a database count based on its listed criteria, not a measure of how well those cards perform in matches. Neither the candidate lists nor the available sources provide a named-player performance study or a common gameplay test, so they cannot support a defensible claim that one listed player is empirically the best.
