To remove one Memory from Photos, open Photos > Collections > Memories, then use Delete Memory on that item. On iPhone, touch and hold the Memory; on iPad, open it and use the More menu. This removes the generated Memory entry—not the photos and videos grouped in it.
Delete a Memory on iPhone

Open the Photos app and tap Collections.

Swipe left under Memories to browse suggested items, or tap Memories to see the collection.

Touch and hold the Memory you want to remove.

Tap Delete Memory.
Apple’s current iPhone guide places the deletion option in the long-press menu. If the menu looks different on your software version, open the Memory and check its available controls.

Open the Memory you want to remove, then tap More.

Choose the deletion option in that menu.
Apple documents the iPad’s More menu as the place to share or delete a Memory. The exact label and menu placement may vary by software version.
Choose the right control for what you want
Photos’ Memories are personalized groupings of photos and videos associated with people, pets, places, activities, or events in your library. Deleting one Memory, seeing fewer similar suggestions, and turning off automatic featured content are separate controls.

See fewer Memories about a person, place, or day
If you do not want to remove just one Memory but want fewer similar suggestions, touch and hold a Memory, choose Feature Less, and select the applicable option. This changes which related content Photos surfaces; it is not the same as deleting an individual Memory.
To undo past suppression choices, Apple provides Reset Suggested Memories. Depending on the software version, this option may be in account controls or Photos settings.

Turn off automatic featured content
To stop Photos from automatically generating featured photos and Memories, turn off Show Featured Content. On iPad, Apple’s documented route is Photos > Collections > account button; the exact location can vary across software versions.

Apple documents deleting a Memory separately from deleting photos and videos. The Memory guide does not explicitly describe what happens to the library’s underlying items after a Memory is removed, so do not treat Delete Memory as a command to delete the photos or videos themselves. To remove individual media, use Photos’ separate photo or video deletion controls.
