If you’re asking what progression goals to work on in World of Warcraft: Forever, Blizzard’s Legacy Challenges provide a useful roadmap: class and profession milestones, PvP, exploration, dungeons, and raids. They are part of an account-wide system that rewards exploring the game beyond character power, not a requirement to use a paid leveling service or any particular method of play.
How the Legacy System turns goals into progression
Blizzard describes the Legacy System as account-wide horizontal progression, organized around Legacy Challenges, Legacy Perks, and Legacy Rewards. Its announcement lists 65 challenges across six categories. Each completed challenge grants one Legacy Point, available account-wide to non-Hardcore characters. At launch, each character can spend up to 16 points; Blizzard says a single character can earn up to 29 possible points, so making alts is optional rather than necessary to reach the stated per-character spending cap. Blizzard’s Legacy System announcement presents these as announced system details, which may change as the game develops.
Access begins after earning a first Legacy Point. Blizzard says most players will first get one by reaching level 25; reaching 150 in a non-gathering primary tradeskill or exploring the entire map on one character are alternative unlock routes. Perks are grouped into Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness. Announced examples include increased chances for profession skill gains, faster rested experience accumulation, reduced flight costs, and longer food or party buffs. Points also accumulate toward announced toy and cosmetic rewards. Blizzard says it plans to add challenges and rewards in future content releases, but has not established unreleased details.

1. Reach class level milestones
Challenges award progress for reaching levels 25, 45, and 60 on each class. This gives players a long-term reason to try different class playstyles. You can pursue those milestones over time on characters you enjoy; alts are an option, not a prerequisite for the stated point cap.

2. Build primary profession skills
For each non-gathering primary profession, the listed skill milestones are 150, 225, and 300. Profession perks can affect skill gains and gathering, but those are system effects, not a guarantee that every action will award additional skill or materials.
3. Advance PvP rank
The rank milestones are 3, 7, 10, 13, and 14. This is a distinct progression track for players who enjoy structured PvP goals.

4. Earn battleground reputations
The challenge list includes reaching Exalted with each battleground reputation. Blizzard’s announcement identifies the reputation target, but does not establish a completion-time estimate or a fastest route.
5. Complete Field of Honor season milestones
Blizzard lists the quests for weeks 4, 7, and 10 of the Field of Honor PvP Season’s Journey. This goal depends on the season schedule, so its timing and availability follow the live game.

6. Explore the world and complete Lord Valthalak’s questline
The adventure challenges include exploring the entire world map on one character and completing the Lord Valthalak dungeon set questline. These are separate objectives: map exploration rewards broad discovery, while the questline gives a focused dungeon-related goal.
7. Clear dungeons across three level brackets
Challenges cover defeating the final bosses in all dungeons in each of these brackets:

- Level 15–25
- Level 26–45
- Level 46–60
Treat these as three linked milestones. The challenge description does not require a particular party composition or carry method.

Onyxia is one of the announced raid challenges. The Legacy list establishes the objective; it does not, by itself, specify a strategy or a required way to assemble a group.

9. Complete the announced multi-boss raid challenges
The list calls for defeating all 13 Hyjal Summit bosses and all eight Barrow Deeps bosses. Those are the specific multi-boss targets named for this challenge. Do not substitute raids from another Classic version or assume Anniversary Phase 5 content is included in Forever’s Legacy list.

- For class variety: work toward the level 25, 45, and 60 milestones across classes you want to explore.
- For crafting and gathering: pursue the non-gathering primary profession milestones and consider how the announced profession perks fit your plans.
- For competitive play: focus on rank, battleground reputation, or the season-linked Field of Honor quests.
- For exploration and group PvE: choose map discovery, the Lord Valthalak questline, dungeon brackets, or the named raid challenges.
The point system allows these goals to contribute to account-wide progression, while the stated launch spending limit is per character. You do not need to treat all nine goals as a single mandatory checklist; choose the tracks that suit your characters and available play time.
Keep Forever’s announced goals separate from other Classic content
Classic raid content can combine boss kills, reputation, and item collection, but an example from another edition should not be mistaken for a Forever challenge. Blizzard’s separate WoW Classic 20th Anniversary Phase 5 announcement describes Ahn’Qiraj progression for level 60 characters, including Cenarion Circle and Brood of Nozdormu reputation and Tier 2.5 set pieces assembled from reputation, tokens, class-specific idols, and scarabs. That is Anniversary Edition context, not evidence that Ahn’Qiraj objectives are part of the Forever Legacy list.

Blizzard calls the system “in its infancy” while describing plans for additions. The nine goal groups above reflect the challenges it has announced; future content may add or change details.
