On a tablet, the reliable method is to open a web browser, go to Roblox.com/redeem, sign in to the Roblox account that should receive the value, enter the code, and select Redeem. Roblox Support states that standard Roblox mobile apps do not provide gift card redemption. The one documented exception is Samsung Galaxy tablets and phones, which can redeem inside the Roblox app.
Before you start
Gather three things before you open the redemption page:
- The full gift card PIN or code, and the card’s serial number if the card has one. Roblox may ask for both if you later contact support.
- The Roblox account that should receive the value. Retail-code value is credited to whichever account is signed in when the code is redeemed, so this step matters more than any other.
- A tablet web browser such as Safari (iPad) or Chrome (Android or iPad). Redemption is handled on the web page, not in the standard app.
Redeem a Robux gift card in a tablet browser
- Open Safari, Chrome, or another browser on the tablet and go to Roblox.com/redeem.
- Sign in to the Roblox account where you want the value. If you are already signed in to a different account in that browser, sign out first and sign back in with the correct one.
- Enter the gift card PIN or code exactly as printed on the card, then select Redeem.
- Wait for Roblox’s confirmation message stating that the credit or item was added to the account.
- If the card added Roblox Credit, open the redemption or billing settings page in the browser to check the balance. Credit is spent on Robux in a browser; Roblox states that Credit cannot be used in its mobile apps.
You can redeem several cards, but each one is submitted separately at Roblox.com/redeem.
The Samsung Galaxy app exception
The standard Roblox mobile app does not include the redemption page. Samsung Galaxy users are the exception. Roblox Support’s wording is: “Only Samsung Galaxy users have the option to redeem directly within the Roblox mobile app.”
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
On a Galaxy device, open the Roblox app, go to More, tap Redeem, enter the code, and wait for the confirmation. Roblox’s statement covers the Samsung Galaxy device family as a whole, not a specific tablet model or app version, so if the Redeem option does not appear on your device, use the browser method above.
What the card adds to your account
The value of a card depends on its type. Many Roblox gift cards load Roblox Credit, which you then use to buy Robux in a browser. Other card types, including Amazon gift cards and Party Packs gift cards, redeem for Robux directly instead of Credit. Read the card type and its displayed terms before assuming where the value will appear.

Troubleshooting a code that will not redeem
Check for look-alike characters
If Roblox rejects the code, recheck every character before assuming the card is bad. Roblox Support specifically names these commonly confused pairs:

Confirm you were signed into the right account
If the code has already been redeemed, the most likely cause is the account. Roblox states that retail-code Robux are credited to the account that was logged in during redemption. Sign in to each account you use on the tablet and check its balance before you contact support.

Roblox states that it does not provide refunds for gift cards. Roblox’s U.S. terms describe cards as non-refundable, subject to applicable law. Those U.S. terms also separate cards that load Credit from certain specially marked cards denominated directly in Robux. Treat those U.S. details as U.S.-specific rather than as rules that apply everywhere.
