The iQOO Z11 5G has the larger listed battery (7050mAh), the higher-resolution and faster display (6.83-inch, 2800 × 1260, up to 144Hz), and the 32MP front camera. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G has the stronger published protection and update commitments: an IP64 rating, up to six OS upgrades, and up to six years of security updates. On price, the only figure we can confirm is iQOO’s ₹39,999 for the 8GB/128GB Z11 5G, and Samsung’s India page we reviewed does not show a price, so a precise price difference cannot yet be stated.
This comparison covers the India-market models only, and it relies on manufacturer specifications and store listings. No independent head-to-head test of these two phones has been published by us, so it does not establish which phone is faster, lasts longer in daily use, or takes better photos.
Which iQOO Z11 5G are we comparing?
The iQOO Z11 5G is sold under the same name in more than one market, but the hardware is not identical. India’s official model uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo and a 7050mAh typical battery. Indonesia’s official Z11 page lists a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and a 9020mAh typical battery. These are different phones on paper, so the figures in this article apply only to the India configuration. If you are buying in another country, check that market’s own product page before comparing.

Display
The iQOO Z11 5G has the larger screen (6.83 inches against 6.67 inches), the higher resolution (2800 × 1260 against 1080 × 2340 for the Samsung), and the higher listed refresh rate (144Hz against 120Hz). Those are the specifications iQOO and Samsung publish. Whether the higher refresh rate feels smoother in day-to-day use depends on how each phone manages refresh rate in apps, and that behaviour has not been measured here.

Processor and performance
The two phones use different chipsets from different tiers of the market: a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo on the iQOO side and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 on the Samsung side. Chipset names alone do not establish the speed of either phone under sustained load, gaming, or multitasking. We have not gathered benchmark or thermal results for either model, so treat performance as an open question until independent tests are available.

iQOO lists a 7050mAh typical battery and 44W charging for the India Z11 5G. Samsung lists a 5000mAh typical battery and states that the A27 5G reaches up to 45% in 30 minutes with Super Fast Charging. Those two charging statements are not directly comparable, because Samsung’s page does not state the wattage or whether an adapter is included. A larger typical battery is a specification, not a measured promise of longer real-world use, since screen brightness, refresh rate settings, and network conditions all change how long a charge lasts.

Cameras
The iQOO Z11 5G pairs a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G has a 50MP wide camera with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The Samsung offers a dedicated macro lens that the iQOO does not list, while the iQOO’s front camera is 32MP against the Samsung’s 12MP. No side-by-side photo or video tests were used in this comparison, so image quality is not ranked here.
Durability and protection
This is where the two listings differ most clearly. Samsung rates the A27 5G at IP64, which covers dust and freshwater spray under the conditions Samsung specifies in its lab testing. Samsung also advises against using the phone at the beach or in a pool. The iQOO India listing we checked does not state an IP rating, so there is no official basis for claiming the Z11 5G is or is not water-resistant. If water protection matters to you, check the iQOO product page directly before buying.

Software and update commitment
Samsung publishes support of up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates for the A27 5G, with timing and availability varying by model and market. iQOO’s listing shows OriginOS 6.0 but does not state how many years of updates the Z11 5G will receive. For buyers who keep a phone for several years, Samsung’s published commitment is the clearer of the two.
Price difference: what can and cannot be stated
iQOO’s official India store displayed ₹39,999 for the 8GB/128GB Z11 5G at the time it was captured in 2026. This is a live store price that can change, not a fixed list price.

Samsung’s India page for the Galaxy A27 5G does not display a price, and the configuration shown there is 6GB/128GB rather than 8GB/128GB. That means there is no like-for-like price pair to compare. A meaningful price difference requires a Samsung listing with the same memory and storage, checked on the same day as the iQOO price. Until that is done, the price gap is undetermined.
Because the two phones are sold with different default configurations, compare memory and storage first. A 6GB/128GB model and an 8GB/128GB model are not the same product, even under the same name.
Which phone fits which buyer
- Battery size and display size matter most: the iQOO Z11 5G’s larger battery, larger screen, and higher refresh rate are the clearest listed advantages.
- Water protection and long software support matter most: the Samsung Galaxy A27 5G’s IP64 rating and published six-year security commitment are the clearest listed advantages.
- Camera setup matters most: the Samsung adds a macro lens, while the iQOO has a higher-resolution front camera. Neither listing establishes which produces better photos.
- Price matters most: compare a matching memory and storage configuration on both brands’ official India stores before deciding.
What remains unverified
- Real-world battery life, performance, heat, and camera quality for both phones.
- The current Samsung India price for the Galaxy A27 5G, and its price for an 8GB/128GB configuration.
- Whether the iQOO Z11 5G has an IP rating in India, and how long it will receive OS and security updates.
- Current stock and seller pricing outside each brand’s official store.
