No new Dark Souls sequel is confirmed as available now in the official listings reviewed on October 7, 2026. Bandai Namco lists Dark Souls III as available now and calls it the series’ latest chapter and final journey. FromSoftware lists The Duskbloods separately, with a 2026 release window—not as a Dark Souls game.
Is a new Dark Souls sequel officially confirmed?
Not in the official pages reviewed. FromSoftware’s portfolio presents Dark Souls as a series, but lists The Duskbloods separately as a multiplayer action game with a 2026 release window and online play for up to eight players. The portfolio does not identify it as a Dark Souls sequel or say it is available now. FromSoftware’s official portfolio

Why does the “available right now” claim appear?
Bandai Namco’s Dark Souls III page says it is “the latest chapter” and “the final journey” in the series, and lists the game as available now. That availability applies to Dark Souls III, not to a newly announced sequel. The page names PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Bandai Namco’s official Dark Souls III page
