God of War combines action with a character-focused story, making it a strong choice when simply roaming or collecting is not enough. The Last of Us is the least lighthearted choice here, but fun does not always mean cheerful. Its tension and character focus can keep players invested in what happens next. PlayStation Blog’s 2020 poll named it the Platinum winner among games of the 2010s; the source reported that it received over 11% of votes in that poll. That figure describes participating readers’ choices in a decade-specific poll, not a rating of fun or a universal consensus.

What the awards can—and cannot—tell you
PlayStation Blog’s 2020 Game of the Decade poll named The Last of Us Platinum, God of War (2018) Gold, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Silver, and Grand Theft Auto V Bronze. These are reader-choice results for games of the 2010s, not a cross-generation poll about fun. PlayStation Blog also reported that God of War Ragnarök was its Best PS5 Game in its Players’ Choice awards coverage; that award is additional evidence of recognition, not a measure of this list’s all-time fun.
Official PlayStation pages are useful for platform and feature details, but their game descriptions are promotional. TechRadar’s guide supplies secondary editorial context for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
