No DC equivalent to Marvel Rivals is confirmed. But if a DC team-based superhero shooter were made, its roster could reach beyond the obvious headliners: Blue Beetle, Vixen, Zatanna, Plastic Man, Booster Gold, Mister Miracle and Swamp Thing each offer a distinct visual identity and a different way to shape a match. The roles and abilities below are roster ideas, not announced game details.
Is a DC version of Marvel Rivals confirmed?
No. Marvel Rivals is an official superhero team-based PvP shooter, but DC’s DC Worlds Collide is a separate mobile RPG for iOS and Android, on sale from May 15, 2025. It has 5v5 PvP arenas, but that does not make it a shooter or evidence that a DC Rivals-style game has been announced. The roster below is a speculative pitch.
DC’s character directory lists 251 characters, while its DC Worlds Collide listing describes more than 70 characters at that mobile RPG’s launch. Those figures show the breadth of DC’s character pool; they do not indicate a shooter roster size or confirm which characters a hypothetical game would use. DC’s character directory
Why these seven could make a roster more interesting
A strong team shooter needs more than recognizable faces. Characters should read clearly at a glance and create different movement, range, and team-play possibilities. These seven would bring alien technology, animal abilities, magic, elasticity, future gadgets, escape artistry, and plant control to the same roster. That variety could help matches feel distinct without relying on seven versions of a straightforward brawler.

Seven less-obvious DC picks for a Rivals-style game
1. Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes): an adaptable alien-tech fighter
Jaime Reyes’ alien-tech suit could make him a natural pick for a character who can change how he approaches a fight. One possible design would let him alternate between ranged attacks and defensive tools, giving him options to pressure an opponent or help hold a position. The suit could also create a distinctive silhouette as its functions shift.
That flexibility is a design opportunity, not a sourced kit or confirmed role. DC includes Blue Beetle in its DC Worlds Collide character listing, but that does not establish how he would play in a shooter. DC Worlds Collide
2. Vixen: a fighter whose animal traits change her approach
Vixen’s animal-inspired abilities could support a character whose movement or attacks vary according to the traits she draws on. A design pitch might emphasize adapting to the immediate encounter rather than giving her one fixed rhythm: a faster approach in one moment, a more forceful attack in another.

The appeal is that her power set could make adaptation visible and meaningful to teammates. The exact animals, abilities, and mechanics here are speculative. DC lists Vixen in the DC Worlds Collide character lineup. DC Worlds Collide
3. Zatanna: magic built for control and support
Zatanna’s backward-spoken magic has a strong visual hook for a shooter: spells could appear as words reversed in the air before producing their effects. A possible design direction is a control- or support-oriented character who changes the flow of an encounter rather than simply trading damage.
That could make her a particularly expressive presence on a team, with spell effects that are easy to distinguish from gunfire and gadgets. No official game role or ability set exists; this is a proposal. Readers have also suggested Zatanna for a hypothetical DC Rivals-like roster in a public discussion, but that is an individual suggestion, not a poll or evidence of a planned game.
Rank #3
- BLOKEES ACTION FIGURE: Officially branded Moon Knight-style armored action figure with striking white and dark armor design.
- DETAILED SCULPT: Features intricate armor plating, crescent moon symbols, Egyptian ankh markings, and a dramatic flowing white cape.
- ICONIC DESIGN: Front and back cape detailing includes a crescent moon emblem, with a hooded cowl and full-body armored suit.
- DISPLAY READY: Dynamic pose-ready figure with articulated limbs, making it perfect for display on shelves or desks.
- GREAT FOR COLLECTORS: A must-have addition for fans of armored superhero action figures.
4. Plastic Man: unconventional movement and reach
Plastic Man could break up a roster of more conventional close-range fighters. His elasticity could inspire unusual traversal, extended reach, and crowd-control animations—ways to stretch into a fight, disrupt opponents, or reposition in a way that feels unlike a standard sprint or jump.
His comedy could also come through in animation without making his match role a joke. A public discussion of a hypothetical DC roster names him as a possible vanguard and points to his comedic potential; those are reader ideas, not official design details.
5. Booster Gold: a flashy future-tech team player
Booster Gold’s future technology and showman personality could bring a different kind of energy to a team. Shields and gadgets are plausible ingredients for a support-focused pitch, while a deliberately flashy presentation could make his character identity legible during a chaotic match.
Rank #4
- TEAM-UP WITH A MARVEL RIVALS: The Punisher figure is inspired by his appearance in the Marvel Rivals video game where Super Heroes and Super Villains from across the Marvel Multiverse use their incredible abilities to battle
- GAMING-INSPIRED ACCESSORIES: Hasbro Marvel Legends action figure come with 9 accessories including alternate head, 2 alternate hands, 4 blast effects, and 2 weapon accessories to pose unleashing his Deliverance and Adjudication game attack abilities
- PREMIUM DESIGN AND DECO IN WINDOW BOX PACKAGE: Fans and collectors can display this premium 6 inch scale action figure (15 cm) in their collection with game-inspired design, deco, and collectible packaging featuring dynamic artwork
- DISPLAY-WORTHY ARTICULATION: Collectible action figures feature over 20 points of articulation with fully poseable heads, arms, and legs to pose your Duelists, Vanguards, and Strategists locked in battle in a Timestream Entanglement
- LIVING ARSENAL: Frank Castle, or The Punisher, expertly wields a full arsenal of futuristic weapons and has a steadfast resolve to deliver justice to his enemies
The key would be balancing the spectacle with useful team play: his gadgets should give teammates a reason to coordinate rather than turn him into a collection of visual effects. His role and mechanics are imagined here. A reader in a public discussion proposed Booster Gold as a support character, which is an individual suggestion rather than a broader consensus.
6. Mister Miracle: mobility shaped by escape artistry
Mister Miracle’s identity as an escape artist suggests a mobility specialist built around evasion and rescue plays. Instead of winning encounters through brute force, a proposed version could use clever escapes to avoid disruption and help teammates get out of danger.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThat creates a useful design distinction: his movement would be about escaping a bad position or making a timely save, not merely getting across the map faster. A reader discussion specifically imagined him escaping disruptive ultimate abilities. That is a player’s concept, not an established ability.

- TEAM-UP WITH A MARVEL RIVALS 2-PACK: Spider-Man and Luna Snow figures are inspired by their appearance in the Marvel Rivals video game where Super Heroes and Super Villains from across the Marvel Multiverse use their incredible abilities to battle
- GAMING-INSPIRED ACCESSORIES: Hasbro Marvel Legends action figures come with 6 accessories. Spider-Man figure includes 2 alternate hands. Luna Snow figure includes alternate head, 2 alt hands and snowflake power effect which snaps to her wrist
- PREMIUM DESIGN AND DECO IN WINDOW BOX PACKAGE: Fans and collectors can display these premium 6 inch action figures (15 cm) in their collection with game-inspired design, deco, and collectible packaging featuring dynamic artwork
- DISPLAY-WORTHY ARTICULATION: Collectible action figures feature over 20 points of articulation with fully poseable heads, arms, and legs to pose your Duelists, Vanguards, and Strategists locked in battle in a Timestream Entanglement
- THWIP AND FLIP: Swinging around the arena on his signature weblines, Spider-Man catches his rivals by surprise with sneaky, sticky bursts of webbing and unexpected attacks from above
7. Swamp Thing: area control with a different scale
Swamp Thing could change the shape and pace of an encounter. Plant-based abilities suggest a possible area-denial or defensive character who makes certain routes harder to cross and gives teammates a sturdier point to play around.
His scale and plant-based visual effects would also provide a striking contrast with faster, gadget-heavy fighters. Readers have suggested him as a possible support or tank in a hypothetical DC game, but the role and mechanics remain a design pitch rather than confirmed information.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the seven would complement one another
Their value as a group is the contrast between how they might move, apply pressure, and help teammates. The roles below are editorial ideas, not official classifications.
Recommended Free Tools
| Character | Possible gameplay identity | Distinctive roster contribution |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) | Adaptable fighter | Alien technology that could shift between ranged pressure and defense |
| Vixen | Flexible fighter | Animal-inspired traits that could alter movement or attacks |
| Zatanna | Control or support | Spell effects with a distinct visual language |
| Plastic Man | Vanguard-style disruptor | Elastic reach, unusual traversal, and expressive crowd control |
| Booster Gold | Support | Future-tech gadgets, shields, and a showy personality |
| Mister Miracle | Mobility or rescue specialist | Escape-focused movement and potential teammate saves |
| Swamp Thing | Defensive or area-control character | Plant-based control and an imposing silhouette |
These are not seven interchangeable picks. Blue Beetle and Booster Gold could both bring technology, but one pitch centers on adaptable combat while the other emphasizes gadgets and team support. Vixen, Zatanna, and Swamp Thing could all change an encounter without relying on straightforward attacks, yet their themes suggest different visual and tactical identities. Plastic Man and Mister Miracle would make movement itself a central part of their appeal, in contrasting ways: elastic reach and traversal versus evasion and escape.
What the roster pitch does—and does not—claim
In a public discussion, readers have floated several of these characters for a hypothetical DC game, including Vixen, Zatanna, Plastic Man, Booster Gold, Mister Miracle, and Swamp Thing. Those comments show that these are ideas people have raised; they do not establish a community consensus, a poll result, or developer intent. The proposal here stands on each character’s potential to contribute a distinct visual and gameplay identity, not on any claim that a game is in development.
