The right AI website design tool depends on what you already have: a brief, a sitemap, a wireframe, or a prompt. Wix Studio, Figma Make, Framer, and Webflow AI have documented features for different parts of that workflow; Relume, v0, and Uizard also appear in current tool roundups, but their specific capabilities need to be checked against current official documentation before you choose.
How to choose a tool for a wireframe-to-website workflow
“AI website design” can mean generating a page layout, refining a visual design, or producing a functional site. Those are different outputs. Before choosing, identify the artifact you need at the end and check whether the tool can create it, whether you can edit it, and how you will publish or hand it off.
- Starting point: Does the workflow begin with a written brief, a sitemap, a wireframe, or a prompt?
- Generated output: Does it produce page sections, a site structure, a design system, a prototype, or a functioning site?
- Editability: Can you change the generated result in the tool, and is the editable artifact useful for your team?
- Responsive control: Can you review and adjust the design for different screen sizes?
- Handoff and publishing: Can you import or export the work, hand it to another design or development tool, or publish from the same platform?
Vendor feature descriptions explain intended capabilities, not comparative quality or speed. No shared-brief evaluation establishes which of these tools creates the best landing page.

Wix Studio: start with a sitemap or editable wireframes
Wix Studio’s documented workflow begins with a site brief. You can generate a visual sitemap alone or a sitemap with wireframes, then review and edit the results in the Studio editor. Wix describes the wireframes as fully customizable. Its Figma import documentation also describes importing frames, components, and sections as responsive site designs and extending them with site features. This makes Wix Studio a candidate when you want to move from site structure and wireframes toward a working site in one environment. Wix’s sitemap and wireframe guide and Figma import guide explain the workflows.

Figma Make: prompt toward an editable design and prototype
Figma describes Make as a way to generate site structure, layout, and interactions from natural-language prompts, then iterate in the design environment. That makes it relevant if you want an editable visual artifact or prototype rather than assuming the first output is a complete hosted website. Confirm the current publishing and handoff options for your intended workflow. See Figma’s website-builder overview and Figma’s AI overview.
Framer: design and refine a responsive website visually
Framer describes AI-assisted web design, editable website layers, and responsive site design. Consider it when your focus is visual design and refinement. Treat generated work as a starting point: review the layout, content, interactions, and responsive behavior before relying on it. Framer’s AI overview and web design overview describe its capabilities.

Webflow AI: prompt toward a functional site foundation
Webflow says its AI site builder can turn a prompt into a functional site and foundational design system that users can shape. It is a prompt-to-site option to evaluate if you want generated site structure rather than only a wireframe or design mockup. The product description does not establish how its output compares in quality with other tools. See Webflow’s AI site builder page.
Three additional names to verify before choosing
Relume, v0, and Uizard are included in a 2026 overview of AI website tools, but the available product-specific evidence here does not establish their current features, export routes, or suitability for a wireframe-to-published-site workflow. Do not assume they perform the same role as the four tools above. Check each product’s official documentation for the input it accepts, what it generates, how the output can be edited, and whether it supports handoff or publishing. The broader list appears in TechRadar’s AI website builder overview.

Match the choice to your starting point
| What you have or need | Tools to investigate | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| A brief that needs a visual sitemap and editable wireframes | Wix Studio | Review how the generated structure can be changed in the Studio editor and how you will build and publish the final site. |
| A prompt that should become an editable visual artifact or prototype | Figma Make or Framer | Check the current handoff and publishing path; confirm that the result is the kind of artifact your team needs. |
| A prompt that should become a functional site foundation | Webflow AI | Review the generated site and design system, then confirm the editing and publishing workflow. |
| A workflow you hope to run with Relume, v0, or Uizard | Verify the tool’s official product documentation first | Establish the supported input, generated output, editability, responsive controls, and handoff or publishing options. |
Review the generated page before launch
AI generation does not remove the need to inspect the landing page. Before treating a result as ready, check that its hierarchy matches the goal of the page, the content is accurate, calls to action are clear, and the layout holds up on mobile as well as desktop. Also confirm that the editing, handoff, and publishing steps work for your team; a polished-looking preview is not by itself proof of a production-ready site.
