These six products show how Raspberry Pi technology can appear inside finished devices—but not all of them contain the same kind of hardware. Some reportedly use Raspberry Pi Compute Modules or standalone Pi computers; the Framework Laptop 16 example is different: its keyboard uses an RP2040 microcontroller designed by Raspberry Pi, not a Raspberry Pi computer. The examples come from a September 22, 2026, report, and do not establish how common ownership of any of them is.
What “Raspberry Pi inside” means here
The phrase covers distinct hardware. A Compute Module is a compact computer module designed for integration into a larger product. A standalone Raspberry Pi board is a small computer in its own right. The RP2040, by contrast, is a microcontroller: it can run a device’s control firmware, but it is not a single-board computer.
The six examples below were reported by How-To Geek in an article syndicated by Yahoo Tech on September 22, 2026. The hardware-inside claims are attributed to that report unless an official source is noted; the available KORG and PiKVM product pages verify product features or product lines, not every internal-hardware claim.

KORG Multi/Poly and minilogue XD
The report says both synthesizers use a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3. That is a compact embedded computer, not a standard exposed Pi board. It fits the report’s description of software-heavy hybrid instruments. KORG’s official minilogue xd page describes analog synthesis alongside a digital multi-engine, effects, sequencer, and customization features. The page does not independently confirm the internal Compute Module.

Framework Laptop 16 keyboard
The reported Raspberry Pi connection is an RP2040 microcontroller running QMK firmware in the keyboard. That distinction matters: the RP2040 is designed by Raspberry Pi, but it is not a Raspberry Pi single-board computer or Compute Module. The claim concerns the keyboard, not the laptop as a whole.
Seeed Studio reTerminal
The report identifies Compute Module 4 in the reTerminal range, which it describes as rugged panel PCs. This is an embedded-computer example: the module is part of a purpose-built panel computer rather than a general-purpose Pi board sold as the finished product. The module claim is attributed to the report.

Puttr smart putting green
The report says Puttr uses Raspberry Pi hardware for computer vision and Bluetooth. It does not identify a specific Pi model or module, so a more precise hardware description is not established here. Puttr is presented as a finished golf-training product, not as a general-purpose Raspberry Pi kit.
Iconic Arcade cabinets
The report says Iconic Arcade cabinets use Raspberry Pi 5. This is the standalone Pi-computer example among the reported products. The claim is attributed to the report; no separate manufacturer confirmation is established here.

PiKVM V4 Plus
PiKVM V4 Plus is reported to use Compute Module 4. PiKVM is a KVM-over-IP product family for remotely controlling computers. Its official site lists V4 Mini, V4 Plus, V3 HAT, Switch, and V3, and describes capabilities including remote control, video, webcam forwarding, USB features, and HDMI passthrough. Those product-family details do not independently verify the V4 Plus module claim.

A manufacturer can build a product around computing hardware without selling it as a general-purpose computer. A Compute Module or Pi board can provide computing within a device designed for a specific job, while a microcontroller can handle a narrower control task such as keyboard firmware. The examples span instruments, a panel PC, golf training, arcade gaming, and remote computer management, so “Raspberry Pi inside” describes a range of roles rather than one standard design.
