For a verified 50MP front-camera phone in India, the strongest current matches supported by official manufacturer specifications are the vivo V60 and OPPO F33 Series 5G. The vivo V50 is another official-spec match, but check that it is currently sold and confirm the exact variant. A 50MP label alone does not establish which phone takes better selfies: compare framing, autofocus, video stabilization, and the mode that actually captures at the stated resolution.
Which phones have a verified 50MP front camera in India?
Manufacturer pages support the following matches. These specifications identify camera features; they are not independent image-quality test results.
| Phone | Manufacturer-stated front-camera details | What the details help you compare | Availability note |
|---|---|---|---|
| vivo V60 | 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera. vivo says it can produce 50MP photos in High Resolution mode; it also describes 90° photos after accounting for distortion. | Group-selfie framing and access to a high-resolution still mode. | Check the current India listing, variant, and stock. |
| OPPO F33 Series 5G | 50MP ultra-wide front camera, 100° field of view (FOV), autofocus, and electronic image stabilization (EIS), according to OPPO India. | Wide framing, focusing, and the stated front-camera stabilization feature. | OPPO announced the India launch on 15 April 2026; verify current seller availability and the specific model in the series. |
| vivo V50 | vivo India identifies a 50MP ZEISS group selfie camera and autofocus. | A further option to investigate for group selfies and focusing. | Confirm current stock and exact variant before treating it as a buying option. |
vivo’s specifications are on its V60 product page and V50 product page. OPPO’s F33 Series India announcement gives its camera details and launch date.

What does 50MP mean for a selfie?
Megapixels describe image resolution, not the complete quality of a photograph. A higher pixel count does not by itself tell you how well a camera handles faces, movement, indoor light, or skin tones. Nor does the number necessarily apply in every camera mode.

That mode distinction matters on the V60: vivo says its front camera captures 50MP photos in High Resolution mode and notes that pixel output may vary in other modes. Do not assume every selfie or video is saved at 50MP. Check the camera app’s selected mode and the phone’s current specifications for the precise output supported.
How to choose between the vivo V60 and OPPO F33 Series
For group selfies and wider framing
OPPO states a 100° FOV for the F33 Series front camera. vivo describes the V60’s group selfie camera as producing 90° photos after accounting for distortion. These are manufacturer-described framing figures, not necessarily directly comparable measurements: the pages describe them differently, and a nominally wider view does not alone establish how natural the edges or faces will look. If framing is decisive, try a group shot in person or check independent sample images for the exact model.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.
- Camera: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro). Battery: 5000 mAh, non-removable | A power adapter is NOT included.
For focusing and video
OPPO lists autofocus and EIS for the F33 Series front camera; vivo lists autofocus for the V50. Those features address different needs: autofocus helps keep subjects in focus, while EIS is intended to reduce shake in video. The cited V60 material highlights group framing and still-photo resolution, but does not establish a directly comparable front-video stabilization specification. Verify the exact video modes and stabilization behavior for the model you are considering.
For high-resolution stills
The V60 has a specifically stated High Resolution mode for 50MP front-camera photos. That makes its resolution claim more informative than a megapixel number without a stated capture mode. OPPO’s cited F33 Series material identifies the 50MP camera and its features, but does not establish in the same material an equivalent resolution-mode qualification. This does not prove one camera takes better photographs.

Check availability and price before buying
India phone listings change, and a model appearing in a category page does not prove it is available to order. The 91mobiles 50MP front-camera category page reported 216 phones in October 2026, but its count is that site’s listing total, not an independently audited number of models in stock; some entries are marked upcoming. Its selfie-phone roundup says prices are as of 7 October 2026 and draws them from Amazon India and Flipkart. Treat those pages as discovery and dated price context, then confirm the exact model, variant, seller, price, and stock on the current retailer listing.
Before checkout, verify:
- The listing is for the same model and series variant whose camera specification you checked.
- The seller currently has the phone in stock in your delivery area.
- The camera features and modes are stated for that exact variant, rather than inferred from a different model or series member.
- The displayed price and any offer are current at the retailer.
How much should you trust a megapixel-based shortlist?
Official manufacturer material is useful for confirming stated specifications. It does not show that one phone wins in real-world image quality. The cited material does not provide an independent head-to-head test of the V60 and F33 Series, so claims that either takes better selfies would go beyond the evidence. Compare the features relevant to your use, and consult independent sample photos or hands-on testing if image rendering is your deciding factor.

- DISPLAY: Immersive viewing on a 6.7-inch super-bright 120Hz display with powerful stereo speakers and Bass Boost for cinematic entertainment.
- CAMERA SYSTEM: Advanced 50MP Quad Pixel camera captures sharp, detailed photos and videos in any lighting condition
- PERFORMANCE: Lightning-fast 5G connectivity paired with a powerful processor and RAM Boost for smooth multitasking.
- BATTERY LIFE: Long-lasting 5000mAh battery with TurboPower charging technology delivers hours of power in minutes.
For broader browsing, 91mobiles’ category page can surface additional candidates, but treat entries as leads to verify rather than confirmed purchase recommendations. For example, the inspected Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro material discusses HDR selfies but does not establish a 50MP front-camera specification, so it is not a verified match on that basis.
