Steam’s release schedule moves fast—PC Gamer reported that roughly a dozen new games can launch on an average day. The five releases below were available on Steam as of October 16, 2026, covering puzzle exploration, story-driven adventure, survival crafting, gothic action and a free-to-play action RPG. Prices and availability can change, so treat the figures as a dated storefront snapshot.

3. Permafrost
Survival crafting with an important caveat
Permafrost carries Steam’s Early Access, Open World Survival Craft, Survival and Online Co-Op tags. It is the list’s clearest multiplayer and long-form systems option, with the expectation that development is ongoing.
Price and Early Access status
Steam lists a regular price of $24.99 and showed $19.99 in the captured listing. The Early Access label matters: content, balance, features and technical performance can change as development continues, and the finished product may differ from the current build.
