Voice Inbox is a voice-note app for capturing ideas, reminders, brainstorms, and conversations on iPhone, with compatibility also reported for macOS. It combines recording, transcription, search, and review workflows in one inbox. Core capture, on-device transcription, search, and inbox review are available on the Free plan, while the app also supports memo, Brainstorm, and premium Conversation capture modes. It suits Apple users who want voice notes to become searchable, organized tasks rather than remain as standalone audio files.
Its main strength is the capture-to-review workflow. Recordings can start from the app, a widget, the Lock Screen, Siri, or Apple Watch, then move through inbox, review, archive, or delete stages. On-device Whisper transcription supports offline use after the model is downloaded, and full-text search covers memo titles and transcripts. Tags, threads, photo attachments, audio sharing, transcript sharing, and Apple Reminders scheduling add practical organization.
