Esugoi review
A focused iOS tool for turning sketches into colorful AI scenes with ticket-based conversions.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Esugoi is an iOS drawing app that turns hand-drawn sketches into colorful illustrations with AI. Users draw on a canvas with a finger or Apple Pencil, then tap to convert a sketch. Converted elements can be moved or deleted and arranged into a scene, making the app suited to casual drawing, families, and children who want a simple sketch-to-illustration activity. It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26.0 or later.
The conversion workflow is the product’s defining feature. Esugoi supports undo and redo, lets users compose several converted illustrations in one scene, and can save the conversion process as a shareable video. New users receive five free conversion tickets, while in-app options include Small ticket pack with 15 tickets, Medium ticket pack with 35, and Large ticket pack with 100. The app does not require account or email registration, and original sketches and converted illustrations are not stored on UNVELL’s servers.
Esugoi fits people who want quick AI transformations rather than a broad digital art workspace. Its ticket model ties ongoing use to conversion packs, and the workflow remains centered on turning sketches into illustrations, arranging them, and sharing the process. Users seeking extensive editing tools, broader export options, or a general-purpose drawing environment should consider an alternative. For casual iPhone or iPad sketching with Apple Pencil support and a playful conversion step, Esugoi offers a narrowly defined experience.
