There is no officially confirmed list of 14 Epic Games Store giveaways for December 2026. As of August 7, 2026, Epic’s official Free Games page says that the store offers a free game every week, but it does not publish a December schedule, a 14-game lineup, or dates for individual December giveaways.
That makes claims that Epic has “officially confirmed all 14 free December games” unsupported. December 2026 is still in the future, so any complete list circulating now should be treated as a prediction, leak, or rumor—not an official announcement.

What Epic has actually confirmed
The official page currently describes Epic’s giveaway program as weekly. New free games appear every Thursday on PC and Mobile. It does not say that December will contain exactly 14 giveaways, and it does not name a December 2026 title list.
| Claim | What the official page supports |
|---|---|
| Epic has confirmed 14 December 2026 games | No. The page contains no 14-game list or December announcement. |
| Epic gives away games weekly | Yes. The stated cadence is one new free game every Thursday on Mobile and PC. |
| Every free-to-play game on the page is part of the giveaway | No. Epic separates rotating giveaways from free-to-play games and demos. |
| A current giveaway proves the December schedule | No. The current page state is not a future December schedule. |
Why the number 14 should not be presented as fact
A December total depends on how Epic schedules its weekly promotions and how the calendar falls. A month can contain four or five Thursdays, and Epic could also run a special holiday promotion, change the cadence, or use a different presentation. The official page currently promises a weekly rhythm, not a fixed number of December games.
#1 Best Overall
- This item can be redeemed on eShop only. This item cannot be redeemed on the Wii Shop
- The perfect gift for anyone who loves to play—including you. Choose from over 1,000 new, classic and indie games – delivered directly to your Nintendo Switch, Wii U or Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
- Nintendo eShop Digital Cards are redeemable only through the Nintendo eShop on the Nintendo Switch, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
- Digital Card balances can be shared across Nintendo Switch, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS family of systems, but may only be used on a single Nintendo eShop account.
For that reason, a headline claiming “all 14 free Epic games” goes beyond the available evidence. A list can only be called official after Epic publishes the relevant giveaway pages, a dated announcement, or a schedule on an official Epic channel.
What is currently visible on Epic’s Free Games page
Epic’s page currently shows Marvel Rivals under Free Giveaway, with the action label Play For Free. This is the current page state, not confirmation that Marvel Rivals—or any other named title—is part of a December 2026 lineup.
The page also includes these top-level labels:
- Discover: Free Games
- Free Games
- Free Giveaway
- Free to Play
- Top Demos
- Top Selling Free-to-Play
- Most Popular Free-to-Play
- Most Played Free-to-Play
Those categories matter because they are not interchangeable. A game under Free to Play is generally a permanently free-to-start base game, not necessarily a limited-time title that must be claimed during a weekly giveaway window.

Outbyte PC Repair FREEClear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Games that are free to play, not a December giveaway list
The page currently lists several well-known free-to-play base games, including:
- Fortnite
- Rocket League®
- Genshin Impact
- Zenless Zone Zero
- Honkai: Star Rail
- Fall Guys
- VALORANT
- The Sims™ 4
These titles appear under Free to Play. Their presence on Epic’s page does not make them entries in a 14-game December giveaway. The same caution applies to titles shown in the demos and other free-to-play sections.
How to check whether a December game is genuinely official
- Open Epic’s Free Games page: go to store.epicgames.com/Free-games.
- Look for the giveaway section: check the title under Free Giveaway, rather than assuming every result under Free to Play or Top Demos is a promotion.
- Check the offer wording: a real limited-time giveaway normally identifies the game and provides a claim or get button with an offer period.
- Verify the date: a December claim should have a specific December 2026 availability window or be linked from an official Epic announcement.
- Claim before the offer ends: sign in to the correct Epic account and complete the claim. Once a limited-time giveaway has been claimed, it is normally associated with that account; merely seeing a title on a page is not the same as claiming it.
Epic’s current mobile-related button is labeled Install Mobile and Claim Now and is marked as opening in a new tab. That button is a way to access Epic’s mobile offering; it is not evidence of a separate 14-game December schedule.

What to do with leaked or predicted lists
Unofficial lists can still be interesting, but they should be labeled accurately. “Rumored,” “predicted,” “leaked,” and “unverified” are not synonyms for “officially confirmed.” A rumor may contain a genuine future title, an old promotion, a free-to-play game copied from another category, or a completely fabricated entry.
Do not treat a social-media graphic, search snippet, video thumbnail, or reposted article as confirmation by itself. The strongest evidence would be an official Epic store listing with a dated offer window or a dated announcement from Epic. Until that appears, there is no verified 14-title December 2026 lineup to reproduce.
What Epic’s weekly schedule means for readers
The useful information available now is simpler: check Epic’s Free Games page each Thursday on PC or Mobile, review the title in the giveaway section, and claim it during the stated offer period. That approach is more reliable than saving a purported full-month list months before the promotions begin.
Epic may publish individual December games later, and it may choose to run a holiday event with a different cadence. When that happens, each title should be checked against its official listing and dates. Until then, the December lineup remains unannounced.

Is Marvel Rivals one of the December 2026 giveaways?
That has not been confirmed. Marvel Rivals is currently shown under Free Giveaway with a Play For Free action, but the current listing is not a December 2026 schedule.
Are Fortnite, Rocket League, and Genshin Impact part of the December giveaway?
The page currently lists them under Free to Play. That category is separate from rotating limited-time giveaways, so their listing does not make them December giveaway entries.
Where should I verify an Epic giveaway?
Use Epic’s official Free Games page at https://store.epicgames.com/Free-games and look for the title, the offer dates, and the claim action in the giveaway section.
When will the December 2026 games be known?
Epic has not published a complete December 2026 schedule as of August 7, 2026. Individual games will only be confirmed when Epic publishes their official listings or a dated announcement.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: the claim that Epic has officially confirmed 14 free December 2026 games is not supported by Epic’s current information. The official page confirms a weekly Thursday giveaway cadence on PC and Mobile, but not a 14-game December lineup. Treat any complete list circulating before Epic publishes dated official listings as rumor or prediction.
