To make a song with your own voice using AI, write or choose lyrics, record a clean sample of your voice, create a sung performance, then use a tool that supports custom singing-voice training or voice conversion. Make A Song With Your Voice Step By Step
- Decide what you want AI to create. If you need help with both melody and a sung draft, start in LyricToMelody AI. If you already have a melody or MIDI, Emvoice is designed for MIDI-driven vocal composition. If you have sung a guide performance and want to change its vocal timbre, consider Altered Studio or Applio.
- Prepare your lyrics and musical direction. Write the words you want sung and decide on a melody, or use LyricToMelody AI to generate one from lyrics or MIDI. If you need a precise melody, prepare the MIDI for Emvoice. - Record a voice sample you have permission to use. Use your own voice, or get clear consent from the person whose voice is being used. Emvoice For MIDI-Led Singing
Choose Emvoice when you want detailed control of an AI-synthesized vocal against MIDI in a DAW. It supports Windows and macOS hosts and works with Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Studio One, REAPER, Bitwig, Cubase, FL Studio, and Pro Tools. The entry describes it as paid but does not state a price or plan limits; check its site for current terms.

Altered Studio For Performance Conversion

Its free plan limits voice morphing to 3 minutes per month and lists an attribution license. The listed Creator price is $30 per month with annual billing. Its entry does not establish a singing-specific workflow, so treat it as a way to convert a recorded performance rather than a lyric-to-song generator.
Applio For Local Model Workflows
Applio is a free, cross-platform voice-conversion suite for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It supports real-time and uploaded-audio conversion, custom model training, and exports, but the entry does not identify particular export formats or establish commercial-use terms. Its workflows depend on voice models, and its CLI and self-hosting options may suit technical users better.

Check Consent And Platform Terms
Use your own recordings or get permission from the person whose voice you train, convert, or imitate. Check the terms for the tool and any voice model, including whether the intended use is allowed and whether attribution is required. Spotify says impersonation of an artist is allowed only when that artist has authorized it; it also describes AI disclosures in credits and an AI Persona badge for identities that may be AI-generated. Check the destination platform’s current upload rules before release.
