Compare AI accelerators on three separate questions: how much memory each device has, how quickly it can move data at its published peak, and whether a supplier can deliver the exact model and system you need. Capacity and bandwidth are not interchangeable, and neither one proves workload performance or current availability.
What memory capacity and bandwidth tell you
Memory capacity is the size of an accelerator’s memory pool. It helps determine whether model weights, runtime overhead, and the workload’s context or batch requirements can fit. A larger pool can make a model fit without showing that it will run faster.
Memory bandwidth is the rate at which data can be transferred between memory and the accelerator, commonly reported by vendors as a peak specification. A higher peak does not guarantee higher throughput for a particular application: results also depend on the workload, software, and system configuration.
Keep both figures at the same level of comparison. A per-device capacity belongs beside that device’s bandwidth; a multi-accelerator system total is not the memory capacity of one GPU.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Compare published device specifications carefully
The following are manufacturer-published specifications, not independent measurements or benchmark results. Figures and product details are drawn from vendor pages accessed in 2026.

Keep accelerator specifications separate from system totals
Multi-GPU platforms aggregate memory across devices, but that total describes the configured platform, not one accelerator. Confirm the exact system and configuration before comparing an aggregate with per-device figures.
| Platform or configuration | Accelerator memory total | Number of accelerators stated | What the figure represents |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMD MI325X baseboard | 2 TB HBM3e | Eight modules | Platform aggregate, not the memory of one MI325X. Source: AMD Instinct MI325X Accelerators, accessed 2026. |
| NVIDIA HGX H100 configuration described by NVIDIA | Up to 640 GB | Not stated in the cited figure | Described baseboard total; verify the specific configuration. Source: NVIDIA HGX AI Factory components, accessed 2026. |
| NVIDIA HGX H200 configuration described by NVIDIA | 1,128 GB | Not stated in the cited figure | Described baseboard total; verify the specific configuration. Source: NVIDIA HGX AI Factory components, accessed 2026. |
Platform totals do not, by themselves, tell you how a particular workload uses memory across devices. Compare like with like: device against device, or complete system against complete system, including accelerator count, interconnect, and system configuration.

Use a workload and configuration checklist
- Check capacity per device. Estimate whether the model weights, runtime overhead, and expected context or batch requirements fit in the available memory. Record whether the number is per accelerator or an aggregate.
- Check the bandwidth figure. Record the vendor’s published peak and whether it is described as theoretical. Treat it as a specification, not a prediction of application throughput.
- Match the configurations. Compare the same number of accelerators and account for form factor, interconnect, and platform details. Do not compare a baseboard total directly with a single-device figure.
- Look for comparable performance evidence. Before relying on a benchmark, check its model, precision, software, and complete system setup. The product specifications cited here do not establish end-to-end throughput for your workload.
- Confirm procurement with a supplier. Ask for the exact SKU and system configuration, region, quantity, price basis, and estimated delivery window. A specification page is not evidence of stock or orderability.
How to assess availability
The manufacturer specification pages cited here do not establish current inventory, price, delivery timing, or whether a model can be ordered in a particular region. Availability is a procurement question, not a conclusion to draw from a product listing.
Request supplier confirmation for the exact accelerator and full system you intend to buy, in your geography and required quantity. Get the price basis and estimated delivery window along with confirmation that the stated configuration—not just the accelerator family—is orderable.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
What these comparisons can—and cannot—tell you
Published capacity and peak bandwidth help narrow a shortlist: capacity indicates whether a memory footprint may fit, while bandwidth describes a vendor-stated transfer ceiling. Neither substitutes for a benchmark that matches your model, precision, software, and system setup. The figures above are vendor specifications; they are not independent measurements, a market-wide survey, or proof that one option will be faster for your workload.
