Age Twisters is a two-player cooperative adventure in which a grandfather and granddaughter switch between different ages to solve puzzles together. A short Gamescom demo points to an approachable, story-led co-op game, but it is too limited to establish the difficulty or suitability of the finished game. Steam lists the release date as “To be announced.”
What is Age Twisters?
Age Twisters is a cooperative adventure from Piccolo Studio, published by KRAFTON, Inc. Steam describes a grandfather and granddaughter setting out to find her mother, who disappeared years earlier. A package gives them Age Twisters bracelets that let them change age in real time.
The game is designed for two players, with both local and online co-op. Its central idea is that age changes provide different skills, so players coordinate those abilities to get past hazards. The official Steam listing describes four age forms: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age.
How do the age-switching puzzles work?
The Steam description establishes age-specific skills as the core mechanic, while MP1st’s October 1 Gamescom hands-on preview offers a few examples from its brief demo. In that session, toddler forms used grappling hooks to cross gaps, and teenage forms used instruments to change the speed of objects and projectiles. These are examples observed in the preview, not a complete list of abilities.

Steam also advertises varied set pieces, including growing palm trees, a desert chase, dancing to infiltrate a base, teleporting chickens, disguising as a suitcase, riding an animatronic T-Rex, and moving through a dark spider nest. Those are examples in the product description, not confirmation of a complete level list.
Does the preview suggest an easy game?
MP1st characterized the demo’s puzzles as manageable and reported no true fail states in its short session. The outlet’s impression was that the puzzles were neither trivial nor likely to hold players up for long. That suggests a potentially low-pressure entry point for co-op, but it is not a verdict on the full game: the preview covered only a brief demo, not every mechanic or difficulty setting.

The preview also suggested the game is intended to accommodate different ages, skill levels, and levels of gaming familiarity. That is an impression rather than a formal accessibility assessment. The cited sources do not establish an age rating, so the preview is not enough to conclude that the game is suitable for every child.
How does two-player co-op work?
Steam lists both local and online co-op and describes a Friend’s Pass: one player buys the game and can invite a second player to play free. The premise centers on cooperating with age-based abilities, rather than simply playing two identical characters, though the available preview details do not establish whether players have fixed roles throughout the game.

For local PC play, Steam lists full controller support, so compatible controllers are an option. The listing does not say that controllers are required.
When will Age Twisters release, and what platforms are listed?
Steam currently says the game is not available and gives its release date as “To be announced.” MP1st reports the game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Windows Central’s September 6 preview reported that a 2027 release was penciled in for those platforms; treat that as a preview-era expectation, not a confirmed publisher date. Platform plans and timing can change before release.

What does the preview establish—and what remains unknown?
- Established: The game is built for two-player local or online co-op, and age switching is the central puzzle mechanic, according to Steam.
- Seen in the demo: MP1st observed cooperative puzzles and described them as manageable during its brief Gamescom session.
