Microsoft’s Windows 365 connector is in Public Preview, bringing prebuilt triggers and actions for automating Cloud PC and provisioning-policy workflows through Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps. It can also support Copilot Studio agents that provide guided responses from configured knowledge sources. Because it remains a preview connector, Microsoft advises against relying on it in production apps.
What the Windows 365 connector does
The connector is an automation interface for Windows 365 administration in a Microsoft Intune environment. Microsoft says its prebuilt triggers and actions are built on Microsoft Graph. They let a workflow respond to Cloud PC and provisioning-policy events or perform supported operations without requiring every step to be assembled as a direct Graph API call.
Microsoft names Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps for repeatable Cloud PC workflows. It also describes using Copilot Studio agents to provide guided responses based on configured knowledge sources. The connector does not, by itself, mean every Cloud PC provisioning task can be automated end to end. Microsoft’s connector overview describes the product and its intended uses.
What can you automate?
Respond to events
Listed trigger scenarios include a Cloud PC being created, a provisioning policy being created or updated, and a remote action being triggered or completed. These events can start a workflow—for example, to notify an administrator or user when a relevant change occurs.

Manage Cloud PCs and provisioning policies
Catalogued actions include listing or retrieving Cloud PCs, creating or updating provisioning policies, assigning a provisioning policy to a group, and starting a remote action. Microsoft’s examples include emailing users after Cloud PCs are provisioned and using device preparation policies to ensure a Cloud PC has the right apps and scripts before user login. These are workflow examples, not guarantees that the connector handles every step of deployment automatically. See the Windows 365 connector reference for the listed triggers and actions.
Build a guided-response agent
Microsoft also describes Copilot Studio agents that provide guided responses based on configured knowledge sources. That is a separate use from triggering administrative workflows: the overview identifies the agent scenario, but the connector description does not establish that an agent can perform every administrative operation autonomously.
Power Automate or Azure Logic Apps?
Both are named for building repeatable workflows. The connector catalog classifies the connector as Premium in Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio, and Standard in Logic Apps. The choice should reflect your existing platform, governance requirements, trigger/action fit, and tenant region—not an assumption that the two services have identical availability or commercial terms.

Licenses, permissions, and API limits
Microsoft lists Windows 365 licenses, an Intune subscription, and sufficient Intune role-based access control permissions as prerequisites. If you use a custom Intune role for trigger operations, it needs the Webhook.Create and Webhook.Delete permissions. Confirm access in your tenant before building a flow or workflow. The requirements are described in Microsoft’s connector reference and its preview overview.
The catalog lists a limit of 100 API calls per connection per 60 seconds. This is a per-connection connector limit, not a universal throughput guarantee for Windows 365 or Microsoft Graph. Microsoft says connector capabilities and limitations follow the underlying Graph API. If you need to call an operation on the Graph beta endpoint, the catalog directs you to use an HTTP request action.
Can you use the preview connector in production?
Microsoft’s preview guidance says preview functionality, including connectors, is not recommended for production apps. Preview connectors may be excluded from service-level agreements, may not receive support, may be discontinued without notice, and may never reach general availability. Microsoft also gives no fixed timetable for general availability. Its preview connector FAQ recommends using preview functionality for development apps.
That makes the connector more suitable for evaluating workflow fit and developing prototypes than for workflows whose interruption would affect a production service. If you test it, account for the possibility that behavior or availability could change, and avoid making critical operations dependent on it until Microsoft’s support and lifecycle position meets your requirements.
