SecurityWeek’s Ransomware Resilience & Recovery Summit took place virtually on February 25, 2026, and the organizer now lists its sessions as on demand. Registration is the stated route to access them. The event is not an upcoming live session, and SecurityWeek’s pages do not confirm a future live edition or a new registration window.

How to access the summit

SecurityWeek’s summit page and 2026 virtual-events listing identify the event as on demand. Its registration page says registration is required for access.

  1. Open SecurityWeek’s Ransomware Resilience & Recovery Summit page.
  2. Use the registration option provided there and submit the requested information to establish a user on the event platform.
  3. After registering, follow the platform’s directions to view the available sessions. The organizer says its platform works on computers and mobile devices and in any browser; this is the organizer’s statement, not an independent playback test.

Availability and registration access can change, so check the organizer’s page for the current access option.

What the event covers

SecurityWeek frames the summit around planning for and recovering from a ransomware incident—not prevention alone. Its published themes include:

  • Vulnerability management and attack-surface reduction
  • Secure cloud deployments and cloud threat intelligence
  • Backup and recovery, including preparation for post-infection remediation
  • Tabletop exercises to help teams practice incident response
  • An interactive expo and sponsor demonstrations

The agenda describes a cyber vault as an isolated, immutable copy of backup data, and discusses clean-room and forensic work as recovery concepts. These are descriptions in event-session content, not evidence that every organization needs or uses the same architecture.

Speakers, sponsors, and how to assess the sessions

The summit page lists Cohesity, Wiz, Adaptive Security, and Menlo Security as sponsors. SecurityWeek’s SecuritySummits page identifies Dr. Joye Purser as Cohesity’s Global Field CISO and describes her resilience session as covering “Recovery Must-Haves.” Her session is presented in a company-representative context.

Use the agenda to understand what each session proposes, while distinguishing sponsor presentations and product claims from independent evidence. The event pages provide program descriptions, not comparative product testing or proof of effectiveness.
