Check the published PC requirements before troubleshooting performance
Compare your PC with the minimum requirements listed on Steam and in the publisher’s FAQ. The FAQ says PC specifications may change. Epic’s listing had recommended PC requirements marked TBC at the time of writing, so there is no published recommended-spec target to compare against.

These are minimum requirements, not a promise of smooth performance or a particular frame rate. If you are investigating stuttering or a crash, note your CPU, GPU, RAM, Windows version, storage type, driver version, resolution, graphics settings, and exactly when the problem occurs. That information can help describe the issue, but the official sources do not specify a graphics setting, driver change, launch option, shader-cache procedure, or other verified workaround.
Check controller support without assuming a particular model will work
The official listings advertise controller support, and Secret Mode’s FAQ confirms rumble support across platforms. It also says keyboard and mouse are playable on PC. However, the published information does not name supported controller models or explain how to fix a device that is not detected or behaves incorrectly.

- Record your platform and, on PC, the controller model and whether it is connected by cable or wirelessly.
- Check whether the operating system or platform client recognizes the controller. This is a diagnostic check, not a confirmed fix for the game.
- If available on PC, try keyboard and mouse to determine whether the problem is limited to controller input.
- Record what is wrong—such as no detection, incorrect inputs, or missing rumble—and when it happens.
Secret Mode says there are currently no plans for wheel support, HOTAS/HOSAS, full haptics, resistance, or VR support. A missing feature in that list should not be treated as a malfunction.
Separate Steam launch prompts from online and friend-list problems
For Steam players, the publisher says the game prompts you to install the Epic Online Services (EOS) redistributable if it is not already present in your library. The FAQ says EOS supports cross-platform play and cross-platform friend management and invites, and that it is required for crossplay. It also says an Epic account is needed to manage non-Steam friends. These details do not establish that an Epic account is required to own or launch the Steam version, or to play the offline solo content.

The publisher says the solo campaign, scenarios, and Arcade events can be played offline. Online multiplayer and connected Arcade leaderboards require an internet connection. If the issue occurs only when accessing multiplayer, crossplay, friends, or leaderboards, note that separately from a failure to launch or play offline.

Steam’s store page lists the scheduled release date as October 6, 2026; Secret Mode’s FAQ was last edited September 25, 2026. Because these details were published before release, use later official patch notes or support answers before treating any particular workaround as a confirmed fix.
