You can make a 24/7 Bollywood music stream by clearing the rights to every recording, building a finished audio-and-visualizer feed, and sending it to YouTube through an encoder that can run continuously. The rights step comes first: a visualizer, a small audience, or an unlisted test does not make commercial music safe to stream. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, and a stream may be interrupted or terminated if a match is identified.
1. Clear the music rights before building the stream
Bollywood tracks can involve separate rights in the sound recording (the master) and the underlying musical work (such as the composition and lyrics). Different parties may administer those rights. YouTube explains this in its Music Rights Management guidance and warns in Copyright issues with live streams that live broadcasts are scanned for third-party content.
Make a track-by-track rights list
For every planned track, record the exact version and identify the relevant recording owner and composition or publishing interests. Do not assume that permission from one party covers the other rights. Ask the relevant owners or administrators for written permission that expressly covers audiovisual livestreaming on YouTube, the territories where the stream will be available, continuous or repeated broadcasts, the intended duration, monetization if applicable, and any archived replay.
Those terms matter because permission can be limited by rights, platform, territory, or use. A general statement that you may “use” a song is not enough to establish that it covers a continuous live broadcast and its replay.

Ask about YouTube Content ID allowlisting
Before going live, ask each relevant rights administrator whether your channel must be added to its YouTube Content ID allowlist. YouTube cautions that a licensed stream can still be interrupted if the channel is not on the rights owner’s allowlist. A Content ID claim is not proof that you have a license, and a normal consumer music subscription should not be treated as livestream permission.
Do not treat a test stream as an exception
YouTube says all live streams are scanned, so do not assume that a private or unlisted test avoids enforcement. Use music you have cleared for the test as well as the public stream. If YouTube identifies third-party content, it may replace the stream image, interrupt or terminate the broadcast, and the circumstances may also lead to a strike.

2. Build the visualizer and audio feed
Your encoder needs one audiovisual output: the cleared music plus the visualizer image. The visualizer should respond to the same audio signal the audience hears, not an unrelated monitor or microphone input. You can create that output live in an encoder setup or render the audio-reactive video ahead of time and send the finished file through an encoder.
Choose the audio-reactive setup deliberately
OBS Studio is one software-encoder option to evaluate; its official help portal describes it as free and links to its guides. However, no particular audio-visualizer plugin, current compatibility, or dependable configuration is established here. Before relying on a plugin, check its current official documentation for compatibility with your installed OBS version, supported audio sources, and whether it can run unattended for a continuous broadcast.

Whichever method you choose, confirm that the visualizer reacts to the intended track, that the music is audible in the output, and that the picture does not freeze when tracks change. Add only title or track metadata you can keep accurate. Test with representative motion and audio before launch; YouTube specifically recommends testing with content similar to the real stream.
Decide whether to render ahead or generate live
- Render ahead: Create complete audiovisual files with the visualizer already applied, then queue or loop those files. This reduces dependence on a live visualizer plugin, but you must prepare and check the files and playlist beforehand.
- Generate the visualizer live: Send the music and visualizer source through your encoder together. This gives you a live-generated picture, but the computer, encoder, source routing, and any plugin need to keep working continuously.
Neither approach changes the rights requirement. The music and any archived replay still need appropriate permission.

3. Connect an encoder to YouTube
- Enable live streaming on the channel. YouTube says first-time enablement may take up to 24 hours, so do this before your planned launch.
- Choose an encoder. A software encoder runs on a computer; a standalone hardware encoder is another option. Choose a setup that can run for the intended duration and accept your audio-and-visualizer output.
- Create or schedule the broadcast in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Use YouTube’s current live-stream workflow to create the stream and obtain its server URL and stream key.
- Enter the server URL and stream key in the encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not show it on screen, publish it, or share it with people who do not need access. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Set the encoder output to match your prepared content and connection. YouTube recommends testing beforehand with similar audio and motion and monitoring stream health during the broadcast. The right output depends on what your connection can sustain; do not select a quality setting your upload connection cannot maintain.
- Start the encoder and verify the YouTube preview and stream health. Confirm the sound, picture, visualizer response, and stream status before directing viewers to the broadcast.
YouTube’s Live Streaming API overview describes a stream as the audio-video content communicated to YouTube. In practice, the stream key and ingest connection link your encoder output to the broadcast you created in YouTube Studio.
4. Plan continuity, monitoring, and archives
A 24/7 broadcast is an operating system, not just a playlist. Decide who will notice a failure and what they will do. Account for power loss, internet failure, encoder or computer restarts, a visualizer or audio source freezing, and a playlist reaching its end. Check the YouTube stream-health indicators during the broadcast and have a tested way to reconnect the encoder.

- Playlist continuity: Check that the playlist repeats or has enough material for the planned run, and that transitions do not leave silence or a frozen image.
- Human monitoring: Assign someone to check the live output and respond to copyright notices, stream-health warnings, or equipment problems.
- Rights and archives: Keep permission records accessible and make sure they cover any replay you intend to retain.
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not count on one complete archive for a continuous 24/7 session; plan separate archive segments and check YouTube’s current limits and controls in Studio.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.5. Troubleshoot common failures
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or do |
|---|---|---|
| The stream is interrupted or its image is replaced | YouTube identified third-party content, or the channel is not allowlisted by a rights owner despite permission. | Review YouTube’s notice, confirm written rights for the exact use, and ask the relevant administrator about Content ID allowlisting. Do not restart with the same track until the issue is resolved. |
| YouTube does not receive the encoder feed | The encoder has the wrong server URL or stream key, or the key was changed. | Compare the encoder connection details with the current values in YouTube Studio. If the key may have been exposed, replace it and update the encoder. |
| The broadcast connects but audio or picture is missing | The encoder is sending the wrong source, or the audio/video routing is incomplete. | Check the encoder preview and output sources, then run another test with cleared material before relaunching. |
| The visualizer moves but the audience cannot hear the music | The visualizer and encoder may be receiving different audio paths. | Check which audio source feeds the visualizer and which feeds the stream mix; verify both against the same track in a test. |
| The stream becomes unstable during a long run | The connection, computer, encoder, or source may not sustain the selected output continuously. | Review YouTube’s stream-health information, test at an output your upload connection can sustain, and check the system for restarts, power loss, or a stalled source. |
| The live broadcast ends unexpectedly | The encoder or connection stopped, or the playlist or source ran out. | Check the encoder and source state, confirm the playlist has repeat or sufficient content, then reconnect using the current YouTube Studio stream details. |
