Schneider Electric created a global AI and enterprise partner ecosystem organization to help partners and their customers pursue enterprise-AI opportunities, according to CRN on February 10, 2025. The reported remit covers AI integration and the data-center infrastructure that supports it, including power, cooling, modernization and related services.
What Schneider Electric announced
CRN reported that Schneider Electric had formed a global AI Enterprise and Partner Ecosystem organization. The group is intended to help Schneider Electric’s partners and their customers identify and execute enterprise-AI opportunities rather than operate as a consumer-facing AI product division.
The organization’s practical focus is the work required to run AI reliably: integrating systems, modernizing data centers and addressing the additional electrical and thermal demands of accelerated-computing hardware. Schneider Electric’s own public announcement about this specific organization was not identified, so the structure and remit should be understood as reported by CRN, not as independently confirmed corporate documentation.

Why AI infrastructure is central to the partner opportunity
Enterprise AI changes the infrastructure profile of a data center. Large numbers of GPUs and other accelerators can increase electrical load, rack density and heat output, forcing operators to reassess uninterruptible power supplies, distribution, cooling capacity, monitoring and physical layout. Partners can therefore participate before a model is deployed, during an upgrade, and while the resulting environment is operated and optimized.
The services partners may provide
- Assessment: inventory existing power, cooling, space, networking and operational constraints against the planned AI workload.
- Modernization: upgrade older facilities, electrical systems, thermal systems and management controls for higher-density equipment.
- Integration: connect AI servers and software environments with existing enterprise, facility and energy systems.
- Power protection: design or supply appropriate UPS and related data-center power-protection equipment, such as Schneider Electric’s APC portfolio, subject to model compatibility and current availability.
- Ongoing optimization: reassess capacity and performance as workloads, hardware generations and utilization change.
The organization creates a channel framework around these needs; it does not establish that every Schneider Electric partner offers every service or that the group has already produced measured results.

PKA Technologies illustrates the data-center angle
CRN identified PKA Technologies as one Schneider Electric APC partner example. PKA CTO Patrick Shelley described the company’s data-center modernization and optimization work, including frequent assessments for changing requirements.
Shelley told CRN, “Data centers that were built 10 to 15 years ago need to be updated for the AI era.” That is his assessment of the facilities his company encounters, not a universal engineering rule. He also gave an attributed comparison: one colocation deployment with 100 servers and about 900 Nvidia GPUs consumed more power and cooling than two other locations containing 10,000 servers. The figures describe a particular customer example, are not independently verified measurements, and should not be treated as a general benchmark; workload, server configuration, utilization and facility design can all change the result.

How this fits Schneider Electric’s earlier AI work
Schneider Electric announced an AI Hub and AI-enabled offers on November 16, 2022. That earlier program covered applications including microgrids, production, building HVAC, electric-vehicle management and asset management.
The 2022 announcement demonstrates that Schneider Electric had already been applying AI across energy and operational domains. It does not, by itself, prove the structure, leadership or partner remit of the organization reported by CRN in 2025.

What partners should evaluate
A partner considering this ecosystem should distinguish a channel relationship from a demonstrated ability to deliver AI infrastructure projects. Useful due-diligence questions include:
- Does the partner perform documented AI-workload or high-density data-center assessments?
- Can it address both electrical capacity and cooling, rather than supplying servers alone?
- Does its scope include integration, modernization and post-deployment optimization?
- Where can it deliver, and which Schneider Electric or APC products is it qualified to support?
- Can it provide workload assumptions, design constraints and customer references for comparable environments?
The available report names one example, PKA Technologies. It does not rank partners, establish a market-size estimate or show that a formal enrollment path is available to every interested company.
What remains unconfirmed
- Schneider Electric’s current public organization chart and whether the two reported executives remain in the named roles.
- A detailed program guide covering certifications, incentives, geographic eligibility or partner enrollment.
- Independent performance results, revenue figures or a market-size statistic for the AI partner opportunity.
- Current APC product listings, model compatibility and any referral, commission or tracked signup arrangement.
For those details, prospective customers and partners should verify current information directly with Schneider Electric or the relevant channel contact rather than rely on the February 2025 report alone.
