To unlock Cryokinesis in Slayers 2, obtain and crush a Cryokinesis Orb, complete its four Core Training tasks in order, then buy moves from the Ice Manipulation skill tree with skill points. The tree lists five moves, from Wintry Icicles to Bodhisattva. The move gates and combat descriptions below come from fan guides, including one based on a pre-release showcase, so check your live game for current requirements and behavior.
How to unlock Cryokinesis
Cryokinesis and Ice Manipulation are two names for the same Blood Demon Art: the fan guide uses “Cryokinesis” for the orb, skill tree, and mastery bar, while the developer showcase calls it “Ice Manipulation.” Getting an orb is only the first step; it does not unlock the art by itself.
- Get a Cryokinesis Orb. The guide lists Muzan’s roll and chests as ways to obtain one. It reports that a Muzan roll has a 50% chance of giving nothing, but this is a guide-reported value that may change. Slayers 2 Guide.
- Crush the orb. This starts Cryokinesis Core Training. The guide recommends completing the training in the same server session as obtaining the orb, because players have reported that orbs can disappear after changing servers; it does not establish an official explanation for that behavior.
- Complete the four tasks in order:
- Meditate.
- Complete Boulder Split.
- Touch five Underwater Rocks.
- Defeat five Mizunotos.
- Buy Wintry Icicles. Once the training unlocks the art, open the Ice Manipulation branch and spend skill points to unlock its first move. Training unlocks the art; it does not automatically grant every move.
The walkthrough places the underwater rocks in the pond at Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, beside the red torii gate. Touch five glowing rocks underwater. If the counter does not advance, check that Boulder Split is complete: the guide says the training steps unlock sequentially. Its captured training tracker lists a completion reward of 900 EXP and 405 Wen; these are guide-reported displayed rewards, not independently verified current values. Slayers 2 Guide.
All five Cryokinesis moves
The move tree and mastery gates below are reported by a fan-run guide that says it read the tree on screen. The attack descriptions are summarized by a separate fan guide from Ouw Productions’ developer showcase dated 2026-09-04; that guide explicitly describes a pre-release build. Treat the behavior as a preview, not confirmation of the current live version.

What to know about the orb and Bodhisattva
Orb loss after changing servers
The walkthrough reports player observations that an orb may disappear after a server change and recommends crushing it in the same session. This is a volatile fan-reported observation, not an official explanation or a confirmed rule. The cited material does not establish an official current drop table either.

Domae and the listed drop display
The skill-tree guide lists a Domae kill for Bodhisattva. A separate recorded Domae display showed Bodhisattva at 10%, or 40% with 4x Luck, and War Fans at 7%. Those are values shown in one recorded display, not verified general drop guarantees or confirmed current rates. Slayers 2 Guide.
Compatible weapons
The Ice Manipulation guide lists Claws and War Fans as working with Cryokinesis. The cited material does not provide further conditions for that compatibility, so confirm it in your game if weapon choice affects your build. Slayers 2 Guide.

Ice or Shockwave?
A fan guide’s more useful distinction is playstyle rather than tier-list placement: it characterizes Ice as space control with range-sensitive moves, while describing Shockwave as stronger at close range on fists. Choose Ice if you prefer controlling distance and adapting to close- or long-range versions of attacks; choose Shockwave if you want the guide’s close-up fist-focused pattern.
