Raven Rock is not currently an accessible location in Fallout 76. Bethesda announced on September 30, 2026, that a new story arriving in 2027 will expand the game’s map toward the Capital Wasteland and explore events almost 200 years before Fallout 3. In Fallout lore, Raven Rock is an Enclave base in the Capital Wasteland.
Can you go to Raven Rock in Fallout 76?
No—not based on the content Bethesda has announced. Fallout 76’s established setting is Appalachia, which Bethesda describes as once being West Virginia. The game includes Expeditions that take players outside Appalachia, but that does not make Raven Rock a currently accessible Fallout 76 destination. Bethesda’s September 2026 announcement presents Raven Rock as upcoming story content, not a place players can visit now. Bethesda’s Fallout 76 overview describes the game’s setting and Expeditions.
The announcement does not give Raven Rock’s exact in-game coordinates or a route to reach it. There is no confirmed navigation path to follow in the current game.
What is Raven Rock in Fallout lore?
Raven Rock is a former U.S. military base and fallout shelter in a mountainous part of Pennsylvania. Fallout Wiki’s fan-maintained lore entry describes it as the Enclave’s main base in the Capital Wasteland by 2277, the year Fallout 3 takes place. The entry also summarizes the facility’s continuity-of-government purpose and the role of its ZAX computer. Fallout Wiki’s Raven Rock entry is a secondary summary of Fallout 3 material.

The letter describes a “cold war” between two derelict Enclave operators in the southeast and says the story precedes the Lone Wanderer’s journey. Bethesda says the content is coming in 2027.
