To reach the reported safe ending in 7 Days Cat-Sitting, finish the cat-care and household tasks each day, respond to the anomaly that appears, and survive all seven days. Alternate endings are commonly linked to missed chores or mishandled events, but their exact triggers are third-party reports and may change.

How the seven-day route works

The game combines caring for Whiskers, completing household duties, and surviving events in the house. The reported safe outcome comes from maintaining that routine through Day 7; it is not selected from an ending menu. Guides describe the following recurring tasks, though the exact chores presented can vary by day:

  • Feed Whiskers.
  • Clean the litter box when needed.
  • Complete the laser-play task.
  • Collect the mail.
  • Prepare and eat dinner.
  • Check the house and deal with any event before going to bed.

Use the tasks and prompts shown during your run rather than assuming every chore appears in the same order. The walkthroughs describe reacting to the event at hand, not following a fixed anomaly schedule. Gamezebo’s walkthrough and Pro Game Guides’ walkthrough cover the reported routine and events.

How to handle anomalies

Match your response to the specific visual or audio cue. A response that works for one threat should not be treated as a universal defense.

SmartGames Cats & Boxes – The Feline Fun Travel Puzzle Game, Ages 7+
  • BUILDS PLANNING & SEQUENTIAL THINKING — Cats & Boxes develops five STEM-connected cognitive skills with every puzzle: planning, logic, spatial insight, problem solving and concentration. Because you move the box pieces one at a time — and each must fit back on the board before the next move — you have to think several moves ahead and picture the whole sequence, the multi-step reasoning that underpins mathematics, coding and logical thinking. It's so much fun to play, you'll forget you're building real skills.
  • DESIGNED FOR AGES 7 TO ADULT — 60 CHALLENGES TO WIZARD LEVEL — Starter challenges solve in just a few moves; Wizard challenges make you cover a cat with a box only to move it again later, and genuinely test adults. Early challenges welcome a 7-year-old; the hardest push seasoned puzzlers. One game the whole family puzzles through together, each at their own level.
  • MOVE THE BOXES, HIDE THE CATS — These cats are dying to get into a box! Choose a challenge and place the cats and box pieces on the board as shown. Then move the box pieces around — one at a time, each fitting back onto the board before you move the next — until every cat is tucked snugly inside a cardboard box. Plan the order carefully, because you'll often need to cover one cat, then shift that box later. One solution every time.
  • THE PERFECT TRAVEL BRAIN GAME FOR EVERY GENERATION — Everything packs into the compact case with a lid — just close it and go. It's ideal for planes, road trips, restaurants and grandparents' houses, with no loose pieces to lose. The same puzzle that builds a child's planning gives adults a satisfying screen-free challenge and offers older adults an engaging mental workout that helps keep the mind sharp and active — a purr-fect, thoughtful gift across generations.
  • AWARD-WINNING BELGIAN DESIGN — Cats & Boxes comes from Raf Peeters, one of SmartGames' most celebrated designers, who set out to create something complex from very simple rules. From SmartGames, the worldwide leader in multi-level logic games, with 30+ years of award-winning design from Belgium, trusted by families, educators and puzzle lovers in 80+ countries. Portable case included, plus a free companion app with hints for the trickiest challenges.
  • Large creature approaching: One reported route is to turn on the TV.
  • A HIDE prompt appears: Move to a back room and close the door, as directed by the event.
  • Objects have changed: Photograph the changed objects when the event calls for it.

These are examples from secondary walkthroughs, not guarantees that every trigger or countermeasure is unchanged in the live game. Follow the prompt and the particular anomaly you see. Pro Game Guides lists anomaly responses, and Gamezebo discusses the event-driven loop.

How to pursue alternate endings

Many reported alternate endings result from sleeping after leaving out a chore or mishandling an anomaly. To isolate a particular result, keep other chores and house conditions normal, then change one action on a replay. This makes it easier to connect the outcome to the changed action, though it does not guarantee a specific ending because reported triggers may be incomplete or may have changed.

  1. Complete the usual care and household tasks, and respond correctly to events.
  2. On a replay, omit or change only the action you want to test.
  3. Record what happened before sleeping and which result appeared afterward.
  4. If the intended result does not appear, restore that action and test another single change rather than combining several failures.

This one-variable approach is recommended by Bloxodes’ walkthrough; the specific chore-to-ending mappings should be treated as reported rather than officially confirmed.

How many endings are there?

The available guides do not establish a single verified current total. Gamezebo describes “over twenty” endings. A recording-based guide reports 23 visible result screens and refers to a Roblox list of 24 badges. Visible results and a badge-list reference do not, by themselves, confirm 24 distinct endings or their current trigger conditions.
